- Kynareth, Kyne, Khenarthi, Tava, and Kaan are the many monikers used for the Aedric Deity of of the Winds, Sky, and nature. Worship of her are included in many religions across Tamriel. She is typically worshipped by warriors, sailors, and famers. This video discusses her worship across different cultures across Tamriel, her artifacts, and other beliefs held about this ancient Goddess of the Wind.

It's a huge missed opportunity that we didnt see more of the old nord pantheon in Skyrim. Oh well, this video certainly wasn't disappointing ❤

Seriously, you keep impressing me with your videos. Everything is just on point.
The lore content is great. I love these kind of longer form summaries of specific things in lore.
You read them out in a clear way, too. You have a great, pleasant voice for this stuff. And the visual aspects and music choices are also good.
Best Elder Scrolls channel on youtube, easily, in my mind.

You help me to bring back the love and fascination I felt for the Elder Scrolls series, back into my life. Must be your Voice.... I'm thinking perhaps the Thu'um is a more interesting metaphor for bardic prowess more often now!
But here's why, here's why we gave such a magical importance to Speech, and words, the things we spell... Its because, listening to your exposition of Kynareth, I feel.... A Calling, a whisper of this same Archetype, a forgotten Goddess of my land, and yet of my sky as well, woven into both by rain.... And upon Ireland where I live, we have wonderful examples of both formers, and yet a relentless and sometimes contemptuous amount of harsh storms persist throughout the whole year.
So many of our Goddesses and spirits have been forgotten and squandered, as the land and our water was desecrated for the sake of progress...
Storyteller, Lady of Scrolls, I appreciate your work, for a few reasons, definitely, but also for this one significant, and sometimes taken for granted, sense of rich appreciation... I'll try not to piss off any Spriggans if I ever go to the UK, though I certainly wouldn't mind seeing one as I walk in old places.
Wow. This is the video I needed but never knew that did. Not once did I stop to think about who or what Kynareth is. Which is strange since I always pray at her shrine for the stamina buff...and because the statue looks pretty damn cool. Now it all makes since. I've been a child of Kyne this whole time. I like the fact that you decided to use Song of Healing as intro card music for Kynareth/Kyne. Song of Healing carries the connotation of parting and acceptance of death, which reminds me of Kyne crying over Shor's death. She is associated with death in other ways, too... this is a good fit. Song of Storms would be great too. Out of all Aedra she might be my favorite.
Of Kynareth would cry, she lost her brother Shezarr. I'm sure, Julianos, Stendarr, Mara, Dibella, Zenithar, Akatosh and Zenithar also weeped after the death of their brother Lorkhan/Shezarr.
Learning the lore behind the Nordic deities makes me wish they kept the pantheon in Skyrim. Among other things they left out. Authenticity should have been one of the major issues they dealt with. They kept it in Morrowind. I don’t think Skyrim wouldn’t have been too hard to do so.

I absolutely love D&D, covering the lore of other series such as Dark Souls and D&D etc is something I have thought of, but as of yet I probably won't cover other topics until I've thoroughly delved into the Elder Scrolls, I probably won't be able to cover every single obscure topic of the Elder Scrolls, but as long as I can cover each main topic, I should be able to eventually move on to further lore series :)

One of my characters I’ve created is a female Nord who favours Kyne. In the backstory I created for her, she was born aboard a ship in a storm to a family of sailors, who’s safe arrival on land was attributed to Kyne’s grace. As a result, she dislikes to desecrate nature and has the lowest knowledge of alchemy, due to her distaste for disrupting natural order. Due to their reverence of Kyne as well, she favours relation with the Greybeards and holds them in great esteem, along with Paarthurnax, leading her to turn her back on the Blades, resulting in her conflict with another of my characters, who favours the Blades.
I enjoyed the Zelda Fairy Fountain music ^--^

Always play a stealth archer hunter type. Using Wintersun mod my character always follows Kyne.

Okay first off I don't believe that the plural of khajit is khajiity..or whatever it's stupid and made up just like khajit in the first place but this is more stupid.
Khajiiti is not the plural form, it is a term to describe Khajiit culture or ideology, it is even used in the games :D i hope this cleared this up
