Great analysis as always! A character trait I've noticed about Zoro is that when he is frustrated with his own shortcomings, he tends to use harsh language with others. He had to be collected by Jinbe after his fight with Lucci took too long. Sanji yelled at him about it and Zoro didn't talk back because he agreed with what Sanji was saying. He just got really grumpy about it after everyone got out of Egghead.
I have to be grateful I found this Channel since early days 😭 thank you for your super hard work and fine quality theories, breakdown and content delivery 🙏🏼
I feel like Joyboy's Haki blast took down people based on their mindsets, to escape or to persue, everyone persuing was hit and everyone focused on trying to escape was spared.
The hype is always astronomical when a new Dawn & Dusk video drops. I've been here since you were less than 2k followers. I'm an OG. Keep up the good work!! an hour and 20 minute video from your channel is always gonna be great.
I think it make sense that blackbeard is a member of a species that got driven into despair or inherited the will of those people. Mirroring orochi's and kanjuro's development. Or even hody jones
1hr dawn dusk video? We eating good, enjoying this as always while at work love the hard work! You make me want to learn the deeper nuances of the Japanese language!
Man marked by the flames is most likely Rocks D. Xebec, because his jollyroger has skull with flame on the head. With Figarland Garling introduction, Oda is drawing focus to God Valley incident. He built mad hype around Xebec, even more than Roger. He is going to introduce figure at somepoint, and we've seen things like Stussy clones. The only character strong enough to handle 4 yonko chase for final poneglyph is Xebec. Either real one or his clone.
I still feel like Imu is in Lilys body due to dressrosa arc where doflamingo mentions the eternal life with the personality swap in the same chapter and the eyes and silhouette feel feminine. Also Lily never returned to Alabasta.
I agree. It could also be connected with his ""demonic"" powers shown when the 5 elders lose their Yokai forms, are summoned, and how Saturn dies. This power could allow him to fully posses someone...
Just to give my perspective on this - i think i would have disagree on the theory that Imu is Lili. it's already hinted in the story that Lili resembles Vivi. With that, Cobra would have already noticed in a heartbeat that Imu is a spitting image of her daughter - assuming Imu is in Lili's body.
Great analysis of the chapters, as always. I found some Japanese words and symbolism that were used on past chapters that you pointed out, insightful and helpful in understanding Oda’s storytelling.
There's the theory that the Imu that we know isn't the Imu sei of the Nerona family but could be someone else from the void century that took over the name Imu, maybe because it was the actual Nerona Imu that did the surgery with the op op no mi that made this one immortal. This comes from the fact that the Imu that we know has never been referred to with the kanji of "sei" but instead Oda has always preferred to use "sama" which is gender neutral and also because this imu has a slim built, pointy fingers, thin nose and rounder face like some female characters do and also because the episode 889 of the anime might've shown a brief silhouette of imu's chest when imu first sits on the throne. And also because Oda has always been so keen at keeping mysteries going, that it feels very weird for Oda to reveal such an identity like the identity of the most mysterious character in the entire story in an anti climatic way that there's got to be a plot twist later on
This is the first vid of yours I’ve watched and damn I’ve been missing out 😂 all your theories are backed and don’t come out of thin air like most one piece theorists
God I love One Piece, it is truly the greatest story of our time. The idea that the world will be renewed is a fantastic one! Now that we are on Elbaph and we have a lot of connection to the Norse Mythology, this whole idea reminded me a lot of Ragnarok - The end of all gods. I wouldn't be surprised if Oda took inspiration from Ragnarok for his ending. In Ragnarok, most people just think it's the death of the gods, they all die and the world ends. But that is not the entire story. At the end of Ragnarok, Odin's Spirit rises again to renew the world. It does not read as if he returns in his physical form, it sounds more like he is omnipresent "spiritually". I imagine One Piece could go a similar route. The world will be renewed and ALL the gods are gone because they are no longer needed, which includes both, the good gods and the bad gods. I also assume that the story might end on one of the straw hat's dreams, particularly Nami. Nami's goal is to draw a map of the entire world. But this only makes sense after the world is renewed or else her dream would be crushed. I imagine the final panel of One Piece will show a timeskip and an older Nami looking at her final product, the New World Map. The final two pages might be a double spread that show a wonderful new world - and also a new era of pirates and explorers alike to discover this new world.
Does anyone think of the fact that Nami’s dream may not be accomplished if the world floods because she will have to go around the world again to map it. Or if the water level goes down I imagine it goes all the way back down to the level it was in the void century
Also what if shanks is a double agent also working for the world government. I’m thinking of how he got his world government tieds in the first place he must have done something to become on their good side. No other emperor has those ties, and we’ve seen how the world government treats fallen celestial dragons so I doubt he simply has it because of his lineage.
42:05 hidding knowledge is like forbbiding freedom of thought or speech. It is equal to losing FREEDOM. I totally loved that final words of Oda-vegapunk. ... ... Finally. Buggy for One piece!!!
Fantastic video! Can't wait so see whether your theories about the silhouettes come true. Suggestion for something to look into: Why does Crocodile only sometime have a period after "Sir" when that title isn't meant to have a period in English in the first place.
I love the way Oda portrayed Bonney in Nika(God-form) fought Saturn (Satan a fake God), Dr VegaPunk did a similar thing to Joyboy by tying the Knot, by pre recording the message before he died so it can reach the intended people, like the haki only affected those it was meant to.
I think Luffy being sad about vegapunk also has to do with his new Emperor status, I never thought Luffy would think much of being/becoming an emperor, but when he lost to Law and Kidd when picking the next destination he was like "even though I'm an emperor i lost!" And I think that's an interesting development in his character. Specially now that we are seeing what it means to be an emperor through Shank's actions recently! Luffy will have to become more like this to command respect and keep his people/territory safe.
The Man with the burn scar to is : - 50% Gaban , Denjiro looks like Gaban , Denjiro => Kyoshiro / Gaban => man with burn scar . - 30% Clover, i know that he is dead but Shanks saying that his friend that met him in Elbaf " thought that he was dead" he could be talking about Saul or Maybe Clover. - 10% Saul and 10% Shiki
31:00 kids will do this and say “Shields!” When playing games where you have to pass something on, creating a barrier with which the thing cannot be passed to you through
I would add to the part about Kizaru yelling at Akainu. That being that the reason that Kizaru is so upset is because maybe Akainu was supposed to have killed Dragon when he defected, but couldn't do it. Maybe that caused issues for them.
Now that you mentioned that JoyBoy could have been a Slave. It gave the "D" another meaning since in Japanese "slave" could be 奴隷 (Dorei). Now the wish for freedom makes even more sense.
Im saying and wont take it back: Imu has the Fruit of Possession or the Fruit of Nightmare, probably the Gorousei were already dead and Imu possesses their body after they are dead and get the Surgery of Imm(u)ortallity for himself but in another body, like when Garling call them “Fellow Stars”… it may means that they are already dead, like qhen you tell a 4 year old kid where is his grandman when he asks and then you say “Grandma turned into a little Star, dear”
Hi sensei! How do you like Gintama? Picking wrong magazins in the begining alwayes make me remeber Gin doing same mistake looking for Jump. Cheers from Poland :)
I'm of the view that an inmate whom escaped from Impel Down LV 5 named Roche Thomson will play an integral role in the endgame of OP Thomson will be Xebec who survived or a clone of him
I thought fingers crossed to form a barrier was just a Japanese game children used to play. I remember reading about that when Bartolomeo was introduced.
I think it could be Brooke’s old captain of the rumbard pirates. I mean he’s drinking sake has blonde hair and is talking to crocus and Laboon . I also think he could be the man marked by flames from the marks of the disease,he had.
ahhh that makes so much sense, imu, gods knight captain commander, dragon leader of the revolutionaries, and the fleet admiral > to contrast to the left all second in commands for the final war - trusted right arms who will turn the tides and already have begun to by their involvements - then the obvious top 4 yonkos This just fit so neatly in my brain. Thank you ❤👍
1:01:27 Wait but the numbers in the summon circle suggest that ju peter is actually the first gorosei , after all Saturn was the last one and had a five in his circle
I have a question: if germa 66 has the ability to transport from one sea to the other with the snail islands climbing the red line how come they havent already been to laughtale? The map shows laughtale is really lose to the other side of the red line..
The stronger evidence Shanks never met with the 5 elders is because his scar was missing. Other side profile images of Shanks still show the end of the scar.
Amazing analysis! I know that you are mainly focusing on One Piece, but is it possible for some analysis regarding Hunter x Hunter? Especially that new chapters are gonna by published?
The 4th person in the sellout that had Imu Akainu and Dragon is in my opinion the leader of SWORD but who's he? Man of burn scar? Bogard (not really he used his right)? Or Shanks twin brother 🤔
Imu was inspired by Descent of Inanna. Many tales of Inanna / Ishtar exist in different forms. Bible written on top of Ancient Mesopotamian myths after civilization reset. Luffy is given name in the bible to the lightbringer figure on the land of Lucifer, America. Mayan civilization has very promising link to Sanskrit because Ciudad Blanca in Honduras Mayan territory is Hanuman city. Hanuman ate the sun in the myths, and reincarnated to Mayan lightbringer god of sun Ah Kin (Nikha). Maya was skypia theme and they offer RUBBER for rituals. Luciferianism has same core belief to Hinduism for individual freedom and responsibility. Therefore Lightbringer with Luciferian/ Hindi idealism theme bind together Monkey (Hanuman) D.(Dawn) Luffy(Lucifer abbreviated), now legit with gear 5 technique names. So Luffy is on the side of Sanskrit(Poneglyph) history, and Imu is on the side of fake history. But the real story is chaotic if you saw Inanna / Ishtar tales. There are more powerful or symbolic gods, BUT Hanuman and Ishtar are the most interesting gods in storytelling perspectives. Both Sanskrit and ancient Mesopotamian myth mention great flood. I say Inanna, due to the pentagram symbol, links to the lexicon, went to the underworld, and more like ruthless demon who punish those disobey.
DUSK AND DAWN, could you confirm. That robin and saul was the two person finally meeting this year as per ODA on last jump festa? Please answer who is that character and that character?
59:00 I think that Lilith is evil in the sense of what the World Government considers as "evil", since Vegapunk worked for them. It should be just that Lilith doesn't follow the rules of the World Government.

Lmao dawn dusk sensei just shut down the female imu theories. R.i.p imussy
Imbussy time 😈
But they want the “D.” though 😩
Please never imussy or imbussy again
My theory is that IMU wanted to date Queen Lily but she turned him down for JoyBoy so he went on to destroy everything including the descendants of D
Sensei 💀

lily went missing bc she founded amazon lily as a country

The joke 1:06:07 is "rest in pieces Saturn."
Jejejeje too much fruit is unhealthy
Unless Sky Island (or one of them) is the whole weapon.
For me Zoro's hard comments are weird because of the recent contrast with him being upset about Yasue and people that ate the SMILEs in Wano
first rule of making one piece theories is to not trust the silhouetted figures drawn by Oda in the early years of the manga.
So I wonder if Wano had the ability to store Haki in swords. And did Oden do that with his swords...hmmm
We shouldn't forget the hidden figure from Rock's crew!!
