Route 551 - The Newcastle Greenway - Video Guide

In this video we are cycling the old Stoke to Market Drayton railway line from Newcastle under Lyme to Silverdale which is now the Newcastle greenway, route 551 of the national cycle network. We pass Brampton sidings, Silverdale station and explore Silverdale tunnel along the way.

Silverdale Tunnel is in great condition. Well worth the walk through and into a Jumanji like world on the other side towards Keele station and the M6 :)

This is a part of one of my regular rides, nice little section.
Never been tempted to look into the tunnels though.
