Your incredible at what you've done to improve your home. You are truly inspiring. Those water detectors are awesome. Great for basements too. We have a sump pump & I always worry if it stops working. I need to look in to that. Happy New Year Glenda. Can't wait to see what's coming in 2023.
I can’t express enough how impressed I am at your work. It’s great for your daughter to see this. I’m in the middle of a kitchen renovation that my husband and I are doing but he is a retired general contractor and knows how to do things. I would never have the confidence to do what you’re doing. Bravo!
It’s REALLY impressive how you have overhauled that house. I never would have thought of even half of the ideas you did. HGTV should give you your own show!
Im exhausted after watching you for 20 minutes doing everything all by yourself. Hope your hubby appreciates your skills cause you are saving so much money doing it yourself! Well done! And being a momma & wife too? Go girl!
Your skill, ingenuity, work ethic and design sense never fail to amaze me. And your attention to detail is impressive. I would hire you to do work in my home any day. Your level of expertise is much higher than some tradesmen I've used. You are Superwoman in my book! Tell your "manager" to give you a raise!💗
I am a Retiree, that hates to check for leaks or possible leaks! The Water leak checks that alert you on your phone would be wonderful in preventing damage to my furniture sounds great. I would be very interested in investing in a few. I love your room makeovers are the bomb!!❤
My goodness you are such a superstar at everything you turn your hand to. Such another beautiful makeover. You're certainly not afraid to try something new. You should be so proud of yourself.
Glenda, if you mount the sink a little higher, the sink edges can sit level/ flush with the countertop... So you don't see the edge banding and water damage is less likely. It doesn't have to be an undermount sink... You can even install the sink as a vessel sink. Also, the best way to prime bare metal is with self-etching primer. Your top coat of paint will last much longer and it won't peel up (for the lockers). ProTip: spackle is easier to use on primed wood surfaces to fill nail holes and mitered corners. It doesn't gum up like wood filler and won't shrink. You can sponge over the areas of texture that sprayed too heavy, prior to painting. Taping your walls prior to caulking baseboards and door trim will make for neater transitions and consistent wall texture. Just peel up the tape after you smooth your caulk lines and your texture and paint will be neat and crisp. Latex paint can be watered down a little bit to flow through your sprayers better and if you're using the hvlp, you can add a moisture filter to your air hose to avoid "fish eyes" on your finish. Larger outlet covers are available on Amazon so you don't have to do tedious compound work around each outlet for the standard covers to work. Your "manager" is adorable! You're a total rockstar 🤩
This was so fun to watch and I am so impressed- your craftsmanship is out of this world! To be able to make your own cabinetry literally blew my mind- I love how it all came together to create a cozy classic space for your family!! You decorated so beautifully as well.
I really appreciate your talent and skills in renovating this laundry room. It’s really nice looking, and fabulously functional! Such a great job, bravo!
I want to say “Thank you” for making this long version of the laundry room projects! I’m one of those weirdos that love long drawn out well edited videos of people doing projects (of any kind) it’s really great for my anxiety. I could watch them in the order of videos, but that usually causes me to be anxious that I might miss something, and sometimes I just want to relax and watch it all at one time. For most channels, I just skip around and move on. Thanks for the content girl❤❤
Glenda, you are a Wonder Woman! I am amazed at your skills and that you accomplish it all in the time your child is asleep: I always needed to sleep when they did. The water detectors are a great idea. I plan to look into them for myself and for a relative who did have an unfortunate basement event 2 years ago that went undetected for a week--a silent nightmare that required replacement of the furnace, a freezer, mold clean-up...on and on.
Seeing what you did to this room and how you work is such an inspiration! You did an amazing job transforming this space. Thank you for sharing your journey
Your work is amazing. By any chance, we're you in the military? I love seeing young ladies learning the multitude of skills. You can do anything you set your mind to. I'm very proud of you, girl.
You have become the newest addition to “my girls, my heroes!” (I.e., DIY wife, Stephanie, Kasha, and others!) when upgrading my home with my husband, I make reference, “my girls use.. my girls do… “ then he rolls his eyes, complies, and it works! Lol “you go girl!”
I've been watching so many DIY channels here on TH-cam. Some I've been following for a while. Oneday, I came across your videos and let me tell You!! I'm so impressed and love your videos so much! You are by far the best and I'm not just saying that. You have created some beautiful work and transformations and have to say, I'm "hooked"!! Keep up the amazing beautiful work. Blessings to you and your family ❤
I love your design choices and its nice to seeing someone fearless with making their vision reality on a budget through DIY! Thank you for sharing your art.
I 💜 all of your projects, but this is my favorite! You've given me lots of ideas that I want to do in my own laundry area. Thanks for the inspiration!!!
YOU ROCK SISTA GIRL! When I grow up I want to have your skills and courageous spirit of DIY. Much inspiration for a few spaces in our home. Thanks for doing your thang! Power girls!
Just found your channel and am binge watching them. We have renovated 11 places in 7 years and I love watching reno videos to inspire me. Thanks for sharing!
I got a kick out of you using the leaf blower for cleaning. You discovered my 5 second car clean to get rid of pet hair. Directions: Open all 4 doors and blast for 5 seconds. Voila!!!
I’m a first time watcher and so impressed by you and your talent. Took me a moment to figure out who your manager was. Loved that!! I’m curious to know why you didn’t insulate the walls before putting the drywall back up. You are such an inspiration.
Glenda, this was truly an awesome renovation. Totally impressive. Looking forward to another year of great makeovers. (backporch, hint, hint) Wishing you and your family a wonderful New Year. 🎊🎊🎉🎉
Your spray gun probably needs a replacement spring and or tip. The spring makes a big difference. Or you buy new electric throw away sprayers w on Amazon, when they act up. Don't forget to oil your sprayer. I like that you tackle it all!
Must have missed the first go-round of you putting in the new sheetrock & mudding. You didn't put in any insulation on that outside wall. I know you live in Tx and I know it snows in the Houston area cause in the 90s I visited from FL to meet my newborn nephew. Here in FL we get frozen pipes time to time & have to allow our faucets to drip when temps dip. But then we haven't done any renovations yet.
Want to add, when living in Miami, our house had Dade -Slash pine used to build the rafters etc back in the 50s too. Very tough lumber. Went thru numerous hurricanes without a hiccup. It was tough to say good bye to it in the 80s when we moved further north.
I just watched this video! I’m so impressed by your skills! Where did you learn how to do everything? I ask because I live alone and have so many projects to do, but I don’t know how to do them all!!
Not sure if you will even read this but I worked for the a hospital facilities Department and they said it's a good idea to change your hoses on your washing machine every year no matter what I'm not sure if that's what I'm looking at (the hoses coming out of the wall) but those hoses look like they need to be changed you never know they are always under pressure. just a thought great job.
DONT FORGET TO ENTER THE GIVEAWAY BELOW! GOOD LUCK! ❤😊
You truly inspire me! Happy New Year!

I'm watching from Brazil! You are great!
As an older woman, I am so impressed with young women as yourself who take on this work. You are truly an inspiration!

I’m loving how your fur babies are with you every step of the way. This video was really good. You’re pretty badass!

You are so cute and work so hard! You inspire me at 68 yrs old to do more. Just furniture and crafts.
This was so fun to watch and I am so impressed- your craftsmanship is out of this world! To be able to make your own cabinetry literally blew my mind- I love how it all came together to create a cozy classic space for your family!! You decorated so beautifully as well.
WoW I was just 7 days without water because of a winter freeze and my pipes busted, this tool will be great to just have around the house.
All 4 dogs and your manager assisting🤣🤣. I love it.

Wow wow wow!! You are amazing and so talented. I love diy, but you put me to shame. Well done. X🥰
Porque las paredes exteriores no llevan aislante térmico? Hay buen clima ahí?
Since outside walls....don't you need to add insulation?
