I don't remember off the top of my head, I do remember I had to order the socket before the job. I appreciate your feedback! I just make these to show people what they're about to get themselves into.
@@kirkdecker7919Primarily in Poland, imperial keys are difficult to buy. Second, clutch side wrench must be narrow and long because it will not fit into the hole. I have a lot of documentation but before I order the wrenches I prefer to be sure. Many people say that oil is dripping from the old Harleys. This is not true - you have to modify a few details and the problem disappears, but there is no written how to do this...
While the belts are mostly reliable.... Anyone who's done this job can appreciate how a chain and master link can be a better option... Particularly with high torque / non stock engines! This is ridiculous amount of work to change out a wear item.
Yea, but you got this! It took a while and it was the 1st time I did it. Grab your favorite beverage and take it slow. There are a lot of opportunities to do other maintenance while you're there too.

Compensator nut is 1 1/2" clutch side is 1 3/16" both 1/2" drive remember clutch nut is righty loosy .
You should really buy a service manual. Cheap insurance

What do you think caused the groove?
A rock getting stuck somewhere I've found usually is the culprit.
Can you tell me the socket I need for the big gears inside the primary and what size belt to use I have the same bike.
Do you by chance know torque specs for the primary?
How long did it take to do the belt job?
Plan for a full day if you've never done it and have experience.
