Wow -- this is extreme hiking -- way to go Jose and Josh!! - Jose -- you had to get off then -- the Park section locks you in with only Newfound Gap as a meeting point. - If you want to do a different version in a future year - I live near Newfound Gap -- could drop you there and you could do two days toward Fontana Dam - I would pick you up and zero in the middle again -- then drop you again at The Gap and hike to I-4O and be picked up there (or leave a car at I-40 or the Dam for day 4). Just-a-brain-storm-idea.
Dude! 42 miles in 2 days! Maybe back in the early days of my Marine Corps career - no way I could come close to that today. I plan my hikes on 10 miles/day and sometimes THAT kicks my but!! Way to go Jose!
Awesome Jose that was an amazing hike you did.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Josh thanks for sharing this and as always you just keep on doing great things in life. Happy Hiking ⛺️🥾🏔️
Jose, be proud of your 44 miles, safe travels home, hope to see you on another adventure. Josh thanks for sharing another great adventure, give my best to Cassie and Harvey, hope y’all have a fantastic year ahead!
Another great video. Great hike and very nice of you to carry his pack the last mile on the first day. Jose great job hiking 42 miles on the AT. Getting some great views and really pushing yourself. Thanks again for sharing. Stay Safe and HIKE ON!!!
I definitely packed more clothes food than needed. That pack was heavy, but Josh was amazing for carrying my bag that day. He was amazing the whole time while helping me out.
Great job Jose! The second half of the Smokies is definitely my favorite. I've hiked a lot of the Smokies. Hike up to Clingmans Dome took us two days and it was brutal LOL. Great video and awesome series to start with subscribers
I hike the Smokies all the time. You really rocked it! I met a SOBO thru hiker this week who was pulling 30+ mile days through the Smokies. 10 miles is a day for me in the Smokies, but I am 74 years old, so that works for me. I enjoy your channel. Thanks!
I just completed a 112 mile through hike in B.C., Canada but took 11 days and that was tough. I can't imagine how difficult it would be doing 25 mile days.
I used to use trekking poles all the time. But if you do a lot of eating while walking as well as video type, work trick and pulls get in the way a lot and I feel like they slow me down. But it would probably help on the knees. So maybe one day I'll have to switch back.
Well done Jose...75 in 3 days is nuts and 44 in 2 is just amazing
Josh definitely dominated that challenge! Thanks!
Jose you did awesome! That’s a lot of miles in a short time. Keep it up

Thanks for the tip and help. I'll keep that in mind if I'm around again.

Yeah he did great, It's pretty awesome when people attempt big goals.
Thank you! I know I did it, but I can't believe I actually did 42 miles in a day in a half. Ha!
Awesome Jose that was an amazing hike you did.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Josh thanks for sharing this and as always you just keep on doing great things in life. Happy Hiking ⛺️🥾🏔️
Way to go, Jose! 🥾🥾And congrats to Josh!
Hiking a 42-mile portion of the Smokies in 2 days without trail legs is impressive.
I would be thrilled at 10 miles per day. Hope to see Jose back.
I know right, jose did excellent. Especially without even trail legs.
Great report, thanks! Lovely part of the world; I've flown over it.

I'm training hard for my next adventure. Glad I had the chance to hike with Josh.
Great job Jose! My legs hurt just thinking about those miles in two days. Very inspiring.
Thank you.
Awesome job, Jose! We are proud of you! 😊 Can’t wait to see the next hike 🥾
Great job to you and Jose. I don’t know how you did all those miles in 3 days. “Skip like a girl” over the snakes? 😂
Jose and Josh, Wow what an awesome journey.
Awesome job Jose!

We should have started from the nicer (views) side. Haha! Thank you.
Congrats Lord Kovu! Number one Pokémon go enthusiast
Oh stop it...I'm blushing. Haha!
I Got no stones to throw for sure, Jose. I can't imagine doing 40 miles in 2 days!

Kovu you’re famous now!!!
Superstar!
That is tough on anyone, I did 25 in an overnight and that was tough, did great
Good work, it took me 6 days to get through there.

Ah, that part of Canada is absolutely beautiful! I almost went last summer. Congrats on your hike!
No snow this time! 😊
I know!!
Bro hiked the oregon trail
I almost died on the "Oregon Trail" Lol
Does Jose have his own channel
No, I don't think so
why not use trekking poles?

It was also another set of weights. This hike demanded us to go fast and light, I did the mistake of over packing clothes and food.
Jose is my babysitter I have him as a contact
Seems like he's good kids
