As a young child, between my 4th grade and 5th grade year in grade school...I heard about the unforgivable sin at church .... "blasphemy of the Holy Spirit." I was terrified that maybe I maybe had committed this sin at such a young age .
The summer between my 4th grade and 5th grade year I spent a lot of time in prayer, trying to understand exactly what this unforgivable sin was.. and what came to me back then, via prayer, has stuck with me throughout all my years..
That being...
" Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is forever never seeing, forever never hearing , forever never touching ...and dying with a scream of terror on your lips". In short..never knowing God's love, Who we Are 'in His Love' As Love..via His Grace and Mercy.. Thus, never loving or knowing oneself or one's neighbor.
Thank God for Divine Mercy, that revealed such Truth to a 10 year old girl ....Simply...... "Jesus I Trust in You! "
Well In that case if a someone is born then thrown into a room and then dies that person will have never knew the spirit and will go to hell

I was blessed to serve a dying child in 1996, he trusted Jesus , yet never stepped foot in a church and was to young to read a Bible..but I witnessed Jesus blow together from particles of Light at that hospital room door to come to take the soul of a small child who simply trusted Him in simplicity ...i shall NEVER forget the extreme joy of that child when he beheld glory...
God ain't about where we are. Within spiritual awareness ..He is.more about genuine mercy for those who don't know the reality of His mercy and love...
This one event changed my life forever, it would be impossible for me to ever forget what I witnessed those early morning hours sitting beside this child right before his transition . ... What I walked away with, is that God is Love , and loves us all unconditionally... whether we be ignorant of His Love or not ..

One great statement I've heard that really stuck with me was that satan loves to convince you that you are beyond forgiveness. That you have crossed a line into sin so far that you are beyond saving when in reality as long as you are breathing it is NEVER too late to turn to God and accept forgiveness.

Kind Lady...In my 92 yrs of being a Born Again Christian; I pondered the question of "Blaspheming Against The Holy Spirit". And for 75 yrs, I did NOT get any answer, that seemed Poignant.
Then the last 17 yrs, I got on my knees; and prayed sincerely to Jesus. And asked Him to give me "Wisdom, Understanding and the Truths". For Jesus is the ONLY being; that is "inerrant and Infallible"! Praise Jesus!
That changed my life forever. Praise Jesus' Holy Name. And I believe that the Holy Spirit caused me to read this in...Mark 3:28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men (mankind), even blasphemies whosoever they shall blaspheme: Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit; has never forgiveness; but is in danger of eternal damnation (hell).
Thus, I now believe blaspheming the Holy Spirit is: THE "UN-pardonable Sin". And it means: one never believes IN the only True God Almighty and they die! And the name of that God is now "Yeshua" for the last 2,024 yrs. But it's Jesus in English. (For, It was "YHWH", before Yeshua was born in Mary).
So Jesus' love, has incredible patience; that he will wait until the last breath; for one to believe IN Him...John 3:15 That whosoever believes in Him (Jesus) shall not perish (in hell), but have Eternal Life.

i was 12 when i heard about this for the first time. Our religious teacher told literally that if we offend the holy spirit we will be condemned and we will go to hell. No more explanation after that. I spend weeks fighting my own mind, because every second i felt a strange and deadly impulse to say blasphemies against God and the holy spirit. Since then, i feel that every thing i do is against God. My family separated. I have no job, i have no friends, i dont have money for the rent. Bad people have been threating me on the past and even nowadays suddenly the enemy comes and wants to destroy me. Buy i accept Christ as a savior. He told me to relax. He told me that he knows im always tempted. He knows about the demonic harassment i have been experiencing for almost 20 years. I havent enjoyed life like i always wanted, but i know that God has a better plan. And i will be standing up. I will die with my boots on for the mercy of God. Blessing to all my brothers and sisters in pain. Hopefully 2024 will be a year of peace.

That is a recipe for disaster and impiety. How can we call ourselves a Christian if I am tempted to sin, and rather than fight like my life was on the line (my immortal life, that is...because it is), I just say "ah, fighting temptation and sin is too hard...ahck, ok I'm gonna sin just this once, to get it over with."
Don't call yourself a strong Christian if instead you're just a weak coward who, instead of resisting temptations by every prayer, every action and breath of our weak fleshly vessel, simply gives in because it's inconvenient, uncomfortable, or hard.
Protestants really need to understand: Christ didn't just forgive you right on the cross and death, He gave us the means to find salvation, through Him. Notice I say "the means," which insinuates that there's a method or way to get there. And there is, by the Body and Blood of His Sacrifice, in the Holy, and True Presence of the Eucharist. Jesus told them that they will need to partake of His body and blood, and those who were following Him for a while, left because they were "turned off by it." The measure of a true Christian, and this is ofc no easy thing (nothing is), to "Do as He tells you," as Our Lady instructed at the Wedding Feast of Cana.

It has a long history and tradition, it's art. Also back in the early middle ages the peasants didn't know how to read or didn't know latin, so the pictures and statutes helped them understand biblical stories and such

No No No, there’s nothing in The Bible that says to pray to mary, there was a woman in the crowd that said to Jesus, “Blessed is the woman who bore you”, then Jesus tells, “Blessed are those who hear the word of God and obey it”
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by me." Salvation and relationship with God is through Jesus and Jesus alone, not through Mary. Through Jesus, our High Priest as scripture calls Him, we have direct access to God the Father, and we do not need any other intercessor besides Him. This is what the Bible, the written Word of God, tells us plainly. Trust in the Word of God, not the traditions of men.
Do the rosary if you want, but Mary can’t help you. Pray to Jesus directly.

I have definitely struggle with forgiveness or believing I'm forgiven for my past like 30 years ago and still struggle to forgive I believe this is a process I also write poems and talk to God in a Journal I wish I could turn back time and erase my sins I have gone to confession and still struggle to believe I'm forgiven Yet the Divine Mercy Chaplet and the Rosary are very healing, so I continue to pray these every day for myself and all and tell Jesus I'm sorry for doubting His Great Mercy and forgiveness after being absolved in the Confessional Thank You Lord Jesus saving a wretch like me Jesus I TRUST in YOU ❤❤❤❤❤prayers for all humanity

Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is something you simply say but simply something that comes through your actions, like the part about refusing forgiveness because at one point in our life we all have thought we were to sinful for our sins, but just because you think or say that doesn’t technically mean you can’t be saved, however if you continue to refuse it up unto death then that is when you truly committ blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, because it is basically a person refusing the spirit of God throughout your entire life up unto death. So fear not for God will forgive you and guide you on your path that he has planned out for you until your salvation comes through all the way, and God will do it everytime without fail
Blasphemy against the spirit is the continued rejection of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Jesus literally said it to the Pharisees who said his works weren’t of God but the devil.

You're kind of right because you can't keep denying the Holy Spirit, however, Blasphemy has to do with ambassadorship & ultimately how you represent our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.
In context, when Jesus said that the one sin that cannot be forgiven is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, the Pharisees had just accused Him of casting out the devil by the power of the devil. They witnessed the goodness of God and called it evil. This is blashempy against the Holy Spirit. Those who love evil and hate good will never turn to God and therefore will never receive His forgiveness. However, this is not something that can be determined by the outward appearance alone. Only God knows the heart of any person.

From every Roman Catholic, and Protestant doctrine I can find, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is refusing to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. Since he said this in contrast to the Pharisees saying that his works weren’t of God but of the Devil.
