Every song is just like they say, there are no overlapping vocals, drum tracks, really do sound massive, and tehy did exactly what they wanted to do and its epic.
Awesome. Been a fan since sounding of the seventh trumpet. You guys make my life when i cant. Your music has always pushed my drumming an love of music. Cant wait for the next album. Yall are dope. From me an my best friend jacob!!!!!!!
Man looking back at it now, I was a huge older metal style fan like Metallica and Megadeth and shit like that before I discovered a7x, which was around the time nightmare was already out. I really liked their older stuff like Coe and the white album but I really gravitated towards this album because of the music I listened to before I found them. I know this album got a lot of hate but IMO it is one of their best. They wrote a classic metal album and they were able to change their style up tremendously to do it. Takes a lot of talent to break away from how you know and love to do things musically and do them a completely different way and make it work, which they done a damn good job at
You know, HTTK might not be their best album, but in retrospect I'm happy they have an old school and minimalistic album like that. It rubbed some fans the wrong way when it came out (and still does) but now it's part of their history. Just another experiment.
This is such a great album the throwback to classic metal is great for us 45 year old head bangers don't get me wrong I love the new stuff that's out there but I love where it all came from and that's back in my day A7X was the perfect band to do this I been listing to them from day one and love them absolutely my favorite band great video
yeah I wish they gave him another chance with another album. a lot of people had different opinions on the album itself and it felt like they tried blaming arin.
I agree, but, at the same time, he didn’t exactly fit in. I’m still proud of what he did for the album. An honestly amazing drummer he created his own legacy, which is what the band wanted him to do.
+mentlegen Na, Portnoy only jumped in temporarily to help them finish the Nightmare album and the Nightmare tour, after that he got off from A7X and this guy (Arin Ilejay) became their new drummer, which at least I thought was gonna be a permanent drummer, but after they finished the Hail To The King album and the tours, he was kicked out and replaced sadly. But it was also for the better both for him and the band really, because the new drummer (Brooks Wackerman) is most definitely a perfect fit for them, and the band Arin Ilejay is in now is probably what he really needed for now! Not to say that Arin was bad, because I really liked him, sadly he wasn't allowed to do much on the Hail To The King album though so we didn't get to see his potential as a drummer AND musician in whole.
+András Balogh As your comment is over 2 months old, I'd guess you already know the new album is out, but in case you don't know it, then I want to be kind enough to let you know that it is out already, if you haven't, check it out and a great tip...Listen to it at least 2-3 times before properly judging it, because it is made in such a way that you either think it sucks, or you simply don't know what to think of it after the first time you have listened to it. But when you've heard it at least 2-3 times, you will start to hear the greatness of it or you won't be found of it because it doesn't fit your taste, either way, it is a masterpiece!
The Stage released in 2016 and their upcoming album is planned to be released later this year. It would’ve been released in 2020 if the pandemic didn’t happen.
he didnt leave he was kicked out cause he never showed up for recording or for pre-show practice and they were looking for a better style not that low-ball one beat bullshit.
+Zach Libera everything you just said was full of shit lol, they didn't agree on a lot of stuff as far as music. Arin even said he tried to throw in a few "jimmy" fills and they didn't want it. He was told how to play on HTTK he left due to creative differences, jesus you're a fuckwit.
No one. They didn’t want Arin to be the next Rev and it’s doubtful they want Brooks to be that either. Arin was no doubt just as talented. He could play their earlier songs perfectly.
I am too. Even though I understand why, but I’m still mad. What I’m especially mad at is how they announced to him that he was getting kicked out. Syn just called him one day, yes, called him, and said that he’s was fired, just like that. It was very sudden and unexplained, and the delivery was poor. If I was one of Syn’s bandmates and heard how he let Arin go, I would’ve been pissed. I love him, but I’m shocked and mad that he thought doing that was a good idea at all.
Ozil on the drum.
JAJAJAHAJAHA
lol, even the character
Özil or Ozil
Kidshaped ö
thought the same fucking thing dude.
Every song is just like they say, there are no overlapping vocals, drum tracks, really do sound massive, and tehy did exactly what they wanted to do and its epic.
1:13 the song list. “Set Me Free” wasn’t released until not too long ago. Wondered why the song wasn’t included in the album. The song was fantastic
I recall them saying that it was cut cause they felt 3 ballads in one album was too many haha
When they mention jimmy it kills me 😭
ikr
I almost cried.
Kills a lot of people.
Same
1:12 Set Me Free was there, but just this year they released it
Also St James
@@Mjandroidiot st james was released immediately
@@jd0879 my bad g

Arin made them sound like they were a washed up 80s band
Kain Day The best of his generation...
What do you mean? hes great.
This is such a great album the throwback to classic metal is great for us 45 year old head bangers don't get me wrong I love the new stuff that's out there but I love where it all came from and that's back in my day A7X was the perfect band to do this I been listing to them from day one and love them absolutely my favorite band great video

i love A7X. they're amazing.
Remember the Rev playing on Sounding the seventh trumpet? Classic
USMCA7X he didn't play in that album...
DankGoats 13579 yes he did he made all the a7x albums until he couldn't finish nightmare cause he died do some research
Love A7X. Too bad Arin's not with them anymore 😿
yeah I wish they gave him another chance with another album. a lot of people had different opinions on the album itself and it felt like they tried blaming arin.
Brooks is a lot better, HTTK was awful (except for requiem, planets and ST James)
Rob0504 no it wasn't lmao
@@charlie.co42 Big difference between it’s not your style and a bad record. St.Anger is an objectively bad record but HTTK is a very good album
I agree, but, at the same time, he didn’t exactly fit in. I’m still proud of what he did for the album. An honestly amazing drummer he created his own legacy, which is what the band wanted him to do.
1:33 Arin's like 'ahhh man, this sucks, just let me shred!!'
love you arin 😍
Plus you are and have been my favorite band of all time!!!
not been tight but im glad arin is gone, hes a good drummer and all, but he didnt fit with the bad he was the odd one out....if u kno what I mean
I mean he didnt didnt with the band lolz
+Caitlin Keates Don't know if that's some kind of ghetto version of English you're speaking or what...?
+GangstarapMadeMeDoIt
what?
Caitlin Keates I was trying to say that your english is pretty hard to understand.
+GangstarapMadeMeDoIt
oh soz (sorry) haha.
I actually rewinded the part where they tracked WTF and COE three times. Nice little throwback there :)
Matt is so hot with long hair my goodness
I thought mike portnoy did the drums on hail to the king?

I am your great great great great great GRANDMA oh, ok thanks :)
mentlegen
You're very welcome my friend :)
No, he didn’t. Mike left after their Nightmare album was finished. He was never going to be a permanent member. He decided to leave of his own will.
miss Old Syn 😔😭
I rock to their songs every day!!!!!!! :)
Great album
In the cold eternal light I feel the ember fading
Should've hired Lars. He sits in the pocket all day with metallica lol
Look like ozil got new ambition after kicking ball
And when does the new album come??
Never

Beautiful
it made me cry when they speak of jimmy
o melhor album u.u
It is not a making of video, it is an interview.
Did Arin really left the band??
+Benjamin LRR Yes and A7x has a new drummer. His name is Brooks Wackerman. Looking forward to the guy and to the new album in 2016. A7x!!! \m/
Joseph Jacinto Abaoag thanks \m/

I know but why not jimmy
Are you serious?
Arin's gone... I wonder who's gonna be The Next Rev.
holy fuck!!! theres only one rev and that the fucking jimmy the rev sullivan bish
Caitlin Keates true, but I said "Next Rev" because maybe there could be another drummer just as good as the rev
+Lord Xtreme oh do u mean talented like the rev. soz I kno what u mean tho
No one. They didn’t want Arin to be the next Rev and it’s doubtful they want Brooks to be that either. Arin was no doubt just as talented. He could play their earlier songs perfectly.
Arin sounds like Syn.. :)

Let me save you the time - 4/4 drum beats and some power chords.
Does anyone elses feel like they don't like Arin? I do.
Please stop.
Stop acting like Johny Christ
***** why should he he is Johnny Christ and hes funny
LeCaptainSmallz nope they like Arin they would not take him in and welcome him to the family if not
They got rid of him so probably
this band not the she with out the rav they have lost there drive
Why not Jimmy play drums
+Clarissa Clarise you're fucking kidding right? if its a joke its not funny at all
Are you trying to be funny? If so, it is not working.
+Clarissa Clarise NOT FREAKING FUNNY
lol fuck you
He left the band
Imo this is my least favorite album. Maybe because it’s so slow and boring compared to the self titled or city of evil
Arin ROCKSS!!!
i don't like matt's hair when it's long but hey it's his hair lol
Probably one of their worst, least-creative albums ever released.
