I can't get enough of these OL'BOYZ!!!! My block is not the same, since my neighbors and my Dad have passed. I'm left with the house I grew up in, that my parents brought in 1972, in a Southern California suburb thats juat not the same. My Dad from Mississippi, 2 neighbors from Louisiana and 2 from Alabama. I miss garage doors up, pits smoking & domino's hitting the table. 4 widows since 2014 & I try hard to cook& call the neighbors too make it like it use to be since I've been back after Pops passed in May 2020. Covid derailed most of that....

My darling I'm so sorry to hear that but you know that's the way life feels we all going to lose someone that we love but that doesn't mean that we stop living I lost my mom and just saying that brings tears to my eyes but I got to keep on living and I hold the good memories her and my father on the weekends when we used to have Saturday and Sunday cookout and my mom had a friend to come over I know what it's like the killer hog and then my mom would have us go put on all old clothes because we the one that had to clean the chitlins they would dig a big hole in the yard enable hook the hose pipe up and we had to squeeze all the stinky stuff out and wash the hose and put the hose in the side of the chitlins and rinse all that out that's good memories and then my mom know they will cook we have beer wine and she loves strawberry she love homemade strawberry wine my father was a Beer Drinker he loved his bush so that's a good memories listen darling find you somebody and hopefully they know how to cook and make your own memories much love Marie
