@@mrkeopele of course. But in practical terms, fitting the hub in the wheel and the brakes, takes some space and has high cost. And it's a shit ton of unsprung mass. I didn't say it wasn't the best. Just that it has some drawbacks.
@@mrkeopele one less powerfull motors, is probably best for the planet. Saves 3 motors and planetary gearboxes in the hubs. two motors and one planetary gearbox should be the most efficient drivetrain in the world. My favorite part was when the car went: *"NYYYYeeeEEEeeeEEEEEEeeeeeeEEEEEEE"*
Props to the Driver. Great job maintaining it steady and breaking the record
This is beyond crazy and I love every single thing of it
Great job! How much downforce you had on Mythen during this run?
Wow 4G so cool
I have thought for many many years now motors at each wheel is best mainly for no loss in driveline, beautiful fruition, thank you
great for traction, bad for unsprung mass, bit cumbersome for brakes, has to be really compact package. Ideal if cost is a minor issue.
@@MaxMustermann-bm7qt have you seen who holds the fastest 0-100 kph title right now? 4 wd hub motor electric

@@MaxMustermann-bm7qt efficiency is kind to the earth, rather than cheapest

Insane cool physics at work, well done gals and guys!
Now, 0-100 is super impressive, what's the 0-100-0 time?
