Pretend you only have first gear .. Stick to parking lots... Cover rear brake..... Throttle modulation is a must.. Rev slightly more on the clutch ups Don't waste time chasing..... Watch gixxer brahs technique....
@@ShakeNBlake509 yup after I started practicing first, I looped but like you I was hardly ever using that rear brake, didn’t have that muscle memory. But fortunately was only goin slow so I just had a bit of scrapes on the bike nothing major
Second gear clutch up. 20 mph rev to 6 k and release the clutch don't dump it. A few tries and you will perfect getting it up. Cover the rear brake and practice using the engine grunt to bring it down.
Tank grips, squeeze the tank with your knees before you pop it. Sit up tall, look down the tubes. It all comes with u guessed it seat time. A CRF110 will help too :) I have both
No the suspension is stock for now. The caps on the front forks and just to add a little more pressure and stiffen it up. helped very little if any at all
Get it up, try out the rear brake, get higher and higher but tap the brake as you go higher and higher, eventually you'll get to the balance point, and eventually you got the balance point figured out :D good luck brother
Bro im right here in spokane an getting my full cage sub/12 bar soon I need a lot to practice in do you know any I hope to be this good by the end of the season 🙏 your doing damnnn good !
I’m trynna get to balance point too cus once u get there u can start practicing hella slow wheelies and if u loop it the damage is a lot less than trynna chase out 2nd gear 👀
@@2wheelhomie665 Bought a Tenere 700 a few months back and I'm learning first gear power wheelies on it right now and when I'm confident enough with the bike lifting up, I start using second gear clutch ups. Watched a video from an Australian Moto Journalist and racer I guess and his approach to it seems the safest way in my opinion and he gave me the confidence to try it. Stage 1 is power wheelies in first gear with rear brake to let the bike dip in front to use that momentum for a wheelie too. This way you learn to use your rear brake and it becomes muscle memory to use it when something is off. And stage 2 is clutch ups in second gear and after that all the magic you can do like 3rd and 4th gear wheelies while shifting up etc. I'm at stage 1 right now and can get the bike up pretty regularly and for me pretty high. I'm already learning to throttle up while getting back down.
@@2wheelhomie665 Sure: th-cam.com/video/EtvaYfYy-A4/w-d-xo.html The key to all this is knowing where your bike produces max torque while doing the power wheelies. For me I have to start at 5000rpm and then full throttle as the bike produces max torque at around 6000-7000rpm. So you start lifting it up by reaching that rpm.
@@2lbsTrigrPull ye I get that…. My 200cc doesn’t power wheelie at all so I’ve only learnt clutch up but it’s so janky and really need a more powerful bike ASAP… my first gear on my 200cc is like 5mph and it only clutches up in first nothing else 😂🤦♂️
You should wheelie in third gear much better if u ask me. more time to be up on the back wheel and also easyer. Good thing to think about dont be to stale with ur body aspecialy with ur legs try to have them more fluid with the bikes movment. Lean back also all the time easyer to balance then. Practise is the only thing that makes u less scared. Keep up the good work! :)
Agree. But coming from the dad of one of your friends, if you insist on doing wheelies... 1. Focus on balance and control. How long can you balance on the bike in your driveway with the motor off? How slow can you go with no dabbing? 2. Stand up 3. Get a bicycle and practice 4. Get a dirt bike and practice 5. Get a Grom and practice 6. If you're gonna do stupid things, don't do them with no support. ( Take a friend along. I know you have a few ;-) ) Shit happens. 7. Seat time is everything.
Nah if your mpg less then 45 your tune is boo boo. I got 2 buddies with fz 07. One with 35 mpg and other with 50 mpg both tuned. One with 35 mpg has less power

Thanks man, this is very helpful. I want to learn 1st gear which would help throttle control for sure. A lot more scary though

Your doing fantastic. Practice, practice practice. That’s all you need.
You pop it up so effortlessly
I am sooo jealous! Want a bike so bad and that sounds so sick! Congrats man
Its the best bike to have. Hope you can get 1 soon!!
You don't suck, fuck the haters bro. Wheelies are an art form, unique to each rider..Your doing it fine just keep doing it.
I appreciate it bro! I definitely learning a lot and making progress
Balance point is quite a bit further back. 3rd gear clutch ups will give you the most room for error.
Hell yeah more videos 🤪
I’m trying every friday uploads
Keep to 1 or 2 gear
Go further and further back every day(keep pushing yourself)
Drag rear brake and play with it
You have to think, JUST SEND IT!
Good advice, I am trying my best to get to the "just send it" point
Tank grips, squeeze the tank with your knees before you pop it. Sit up tall, look down the tubes. It all comes with u guessed it seat time.
A CRF110 will help too :)
I have both
You can fit much more in the Gas Tank. Even when it Looks full there will come a Lot more Bubbles. It takes time but you can get much more.
Dude you don't suck at all, alot better than most including myself currently
Thanks brotha
Learning to wheelie and I loved your video…
Your Wheelies are so good. I am to scared for this and dont even know how to Clutch Up 😂
Thanks man. I still have a lot to learn for sure
Trash whellies
He's back!!
u dont suck bro ahaha it takes so much time to learn this, took me like 2 months straight to learn it proper on a pedal bike
Thanks man, I feel like I’m getting better each day

Is the front suspension modified? I thought I saw adjustable caps at least. If you did what did you go with? Did you upgrade the rear too?

I find sweet spot on mine is 2nd gear about 25-30 mph
I have a similar bike the MT-07 Tracer. I want to learn wheelies with it so badly but I have fear of crashing it... 😢😄
I think I’m just gonna buy a beater bike to learn wheelies cus I have the same issue 😂

What you reving it to 6k? 4K? Before releasing clutch?
Idk. As long as it a quick pop of the clutch, doesn’t matter too much
This bike is really costly in india. Is it for you also?
Try dragging the rear break and use your toe to control how high or low you go. Toe down for down toe slightly up to go up.
Good to know, it’s definitely hard for my brain to just let me get to that point
You were pretty much in my neck of the woods!
Rep Washington state
Does it come up in third and in what gears does it power wheelie? It seems to come up really easy in second
Oh ya 3rd is much easier. Trying to work on slower more controlled wheelies
let out air in your rear tire, it helps with the left and right wobble feel

Clutch up in 3rd at 30-45 mph, work you way up with the revs and you'll get it :)

MT07 or a MT09 for a rider that has been riding on a semi auto scooter for 3years?
MT07
I live in the valley. Let’s ride sometime
Dont use the clutch, just trootle! Use the rear brake and drop the bike Back to slow down
Flags wrong on your tank bud. Throttle side should have stars on the front
I'll just watch, i suck at wheelie xd
