The brush is suppose to be at a 45 degree angle upward not downward as you have shown in this video, so that the bristles lift and clean under the gum line. The gum line can actually lift up to 3 mm and bacteria gets under it.

@@AnimatedBlast Actually the best way with an electric toothbrush and just really slow circles so that the upward motion will gently move the gum and clean teeth and gum. And gingivitis will disappear if you do this twice a day and salt water swishing after. 🙂
1:20 Wait a minute, that 45 degree angle seems to be the opposite of what all other ADA diagrams and videos show. You're angling it away from the sulcus in this video. I don't get it . I hope someone monitors these comments. Should the angle be reversed for children?? Thank you.

Yeah, I had gingivitis from not brushing against the gum.
