As a newbie to the Maschine, this is an awesome video and answered lots of questions for me especially watching you use and navigate around in the track sounds section. Kudos, a job well done and much appreciated
Looks amazing, thanks for taking the time to show the operation of this , I totally understand how it would help with workflow, once familiar with the functions and layout.
Happy to help where I can mate Since doing this video I have gone back to writing content on my Warr Guitar but happy to answer any questions Email me: finbar@finbarohanlon.com and will try and help where and when I can
Great video! I’m having trouble recording pop music in Maschine because of the lack of abilities to be flexible with audio recording. Like punch in/out or editing audio parts or overdubbing. How did you record vocals and guitars? I can record all sequenced patterns and song structure easily, that’s where maschine shines. It’s adding audio tracks (though there pattern independent clips now) where it get’s a messy workflow. Any thoughts on that?
Get yourself a Footswitch I use a dual Roland FS6 One Footswitch is for play stop the other is for record Depending on the mode you are in for recording will Determine whether the audio will be stored as individual recordings or recording loop and overdub Using clips then you can place your recorded file on the timeline wherever you want
Thanks buddy, the track does in spots get to about 64% The secret is using bussed effects The whole track is only using 3 effects Plus I learned hot to use the simple inbuilt bass synths and poly synth which takes up little memory It’s super easy on Maschine to just pull up something from and expansion and go from there but the expansions have been in a lot of cases optimised for a mk3 workflow, where CPU is not an issue Maschine plus is super capable if you plan your track out right, this is why I tried to replicate a complete track like this to see what’s possible

Hi, great video, thanks! How can you have so many groups and sounds and your cpu around 48%?
