Oh Josie, your home is so gorgeous. So man cute little spots. The floorboards, french windows, master bathroom, panelling!! Wow!! You are living your dream. You made it happen. You moved out of London to the beautiful countryside. Looks like you have a magnificent garden. Everything is so green and idyllic.
I gotta say how much I love that kitchen! It’s so timeless and suits the house so well. It’s a nice change from the same dark blue/ grey marble counter tops that you see in literally every British youtuber’s house 🤭🤫. I also think that those trendy things will go out of style sooner or later. This definitely won’t.

As an old lady and a lifelong gardener, may I offer a little advice from my grandmother concerning your garden: “ Always Winter and Summer a new garden” (ie give the garden a year) you never know what might come up or bloom where . It is a mistake I have made more than once, dear Josie, and have subsequently regretted it every time...Be truly happy, with my best wishes..

Audra Winters , being a gardener myself I would love to have a greenhouse. It is so especially useful during the winter months! I would plant nice mini hydrangea bushes or something else around the greenhouse. Perhaps the second portion of it can be taken down if it’s beyond repair. Also I see that she has raised garden beds which would be fantastic for growing cut flowers and also again overwintering anything that is required in the greenhouse or starting up seeds . Beautiful property inside and out!

Zig Beswick relatively no crime in the Cotswolds. Definitely a better place to raise a family. More open space, fresh air and better quality of life.

11:08 I believe that is a Jasmine growing over the arch, once it starts to flower, it will emit a heavenly scent in the evenings, and so pretty, wonderful! Can be pruned but unsure if you'd need to wait until after it blooms if you wanted the flowers this year.

Josie, I think everyone is loving all the home content because it truly is a magical house and in our mind, we are all decorating
it for you .... with an unlimited budget of course! I love decorating and have plans for some new wallpaper and curtains, all things I can do myself.
Love, love the beautiful antique perfume cabinet, what a find and perfect between the windows. The Ballet Pink paint colour looks lovely.
The garden has the wow factor for sure, duck pond will be wonderful, maybe some ducks? But those topiary trees are to-die-for,
they take many years of careful pruning to achieve and are so beautiful, here in Australia they would cost many thousands of dollars to buy.....

Tip for the garden: get pots (especially if you want anything big). It's cheaper to grow them yourself for a year plus you can see how the garden looks over 6-12 months while you decide what you want and where to put it :)
Love your home series Josie. Just an FYI, you might consider buying a garden claw or cultivator for your raised vegetable beds in your garden. It will make tilling your soil so much easier. 😁

You could place some large crystals (amethyst, rose quartz) and candles in the bathroom fireplace! I think that would be a gorgeous and relaxing sight when enjoying a bath.

So glad we get vlogs every day, just keep them coming, absolutely love them! The house is gorgeous and it's getting along quite nicely! Love the cute little antique cabinet in the bathroom, but be sure to protect it from moisture and liquid, because antique wood tends to draw mold and fungi to it if not taken care of properly, it's a natural material after all! Enjoy the wonderful countryside, it really suits you!

Sweet Josie, it's called tilling the soil. You can rent a tiller & work the soil in minutes saving you all that labor. You can also use the tiller to work amendments into the soil to improve it's condition with some slow release fertilizer, etc.

I wouldn’t do too much in the garden for the first year - you want to see what flowers appear at different times of the year.
Also keep the green houses, it’s great to grow tomatoes in them and other veggies, that are quite easy!

Josie, please don't feel obligated to film every day. We have all moved and we all understand the amount of work there is to putting everything away and reorganizing your things. Your garden is fabulous. I love the church bells, we use to have a church close by my family home and it was lovely to hear the bells chime. I would rethink taking down the green house. Just fix the glass when you can. You will be chomping at the bit in late Winter to start your seedlings early. You will have a good start on them and be able to transplant them larger and well on their way when the weather is more suitable. As far as the Family Room is concerned. Instead of placing all your furniture against the wall, you now have a larger room that can be grouped in the center. Try placing your couch in the center of the room facing the fireplace. Maybe invest in a sofa table behind your couch, if you have the space, so that when you first come in the room that is what you see, decorate with a lamp, plants, brickbrack and/or your new candles on it. You could place chairs opposite the couch and flanking the fireplace. It seems like your dogs are loving the country walks. May you all be this happy in this house forever. It really is a dream property and so you. :-)

I'm a huge fan of 'Garden Rescue' (Charlie Dimmock and the Rich Bros.) and whilst I've not seen them use one, I can tell you that using a pitchfork to turn the soil MAKES IT SOOOOOOO MUCH EASIER (and faster)! And weeds come out more easily. (This is the best time to take weeds out as the ground is moist and they don't put up much resistance, as they will later, as everything dries out).
"Some absolute plonker painted it red!" So funny. Loving how your account has blossomed (literally) into homes and interiors alongside the fashion content. Pure gold.

My heart leaps with every new reveal. Starting with the stairway, then the kitchen , oh my a sky blue AGA, and the snug with yet another fireplace. Then you take us outside to a lovely,large lawn, then the gardens, pond, duck house . What a wonderful place to live . But the tug on the heart for me is you live in the Cotswolds. Twenty years ago my dad and I tool my mothers ashes to Lower Slaughter her favorite place. From the US. It was a delight to see a tiny bit of it again. Thank you again for you generosity.

I would not dismantle the greenhouses, have the glass replaced, we too have a very large rural property with a massive shade house, and a potting shed both of which serves us splendidly for all manner of things, plus storage. I love the property you have bought, don't rush, live in it for a while before you go hung ho into changing things. Enjoy it, embrace it then after a while you will know for sure what works for you, and what doesn't. Don't know were to start. Everything looks so lovely. I love the gorgeous view from your family room. And the garden is breathtaking. With all these peonies, roses, apple blossom trees and a pond it looks like a botanic garden. 😊
