Thank you so much😊 I mostly use version 2 but I particularly like version 6 which I’m looking forward to trying. It was good to see the insides of the bags and some pix of items made using these methods. An excellent tutorial.
Thank you!! I like version 6 too! It is so easy to make and the gussets always turn out looking nice😊 Wishing you all the best with your handmade bag projects!
Oh my! This video just popped in my YT feed randomly and i'm so glad it did! The one most helpful and clear tutorial for this kind of thing I've ever seen! Thank you!
Wonderful tutorial and helped answer a lot of my questions! I would imagine these methods could be transferred to lighter weight leathers without much fuss? Thank you!
it works in literally any size though? you just measure 3 sides of whatever size of rectangle you want... (the "trick" to getting your edges to line up is that you have to measure your shapes *before* adding seam allowance and then remember to add seam allowance after that.)
Hi, I used a cording zipper wide presser foot that actually also works well for regular stitching and topstitching. As for the measurements, the length of the side panel is calculated by adding up the net length of the side and bottom edges, then adding the seam allowance for the bag opening.
Gosh - your sewing, your diagramming, even your hands, are so minimal and tidy. This was a joy to watch.
Aw, thank you so much! I appreciate you noticing the details! 😊
It’s really joyful
❤ Thank You for this video!!!

i really enjoyed this! thanks, now i need a sewing machine! does the one in the video have an auto thread cutter or something?
Thank you!! And yes, my sewing machine has an automatic thread cutter function!
Спасибо! Хорошее видео! ❤

Omg thank you so much for sharing! Do these work on leather too? Or which ones would work best?
Thank you 🥰 Yes, all methods work with lightweight leather, but Method 1 is the most versatile!
Wonderful tutorial and helped answer a lot of my questions! I would imagine these methods could be transferred to lighter weight leathers without much fuss? Thank you!
Thank you! I’m so glad it was helpful😊 And yes, these methods should work well with lighter weight leathers too, just give it a try!

HOW FUCKING IMPORTANT IS THIIIIIS THANK YOUUUU❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Can u please give me sizes for the first one ?
it works in literally any size though? you just measure 3 sides of whatever size of rectangle you want... (the "trick" to getting your edges to line up is that you have to measure your shapes *before* adding seam allowance and then remember to add seam allowance after that.)
Why i didn't not know this earlier😭😭😭😭
What is the name of the presser foot you are using? Also what is the math for the measurements for the pieces you sewed on to the first square?
Hi, I used a cording zipper wide presser foot that actually also works well for regular stitching and topstitching. As for the measurements, the length of the side panel is calculated by adding up the net length of the side and bottom edges, then adding the seam allowance for the bag opening.
