Great video, absolutely love it, i was at that gig. Toyahs first 4-5 albums were amazing but she seems to have gone somewhat downhill afterwards.

Just wow, watched it all and am stunned. I have always been a fan but at the time this concert was on i was just too young to know about it or go even if i did. If only todays performers could be this good and entertaining.

I suspect what you’re referring to is V2000 which was an unsuccessful - but decent quality - tape competitor to the Betamax and VHS video systems of the early 1980’s. Laserdiscs were large, circular and broadly resembled vinyl albums in form but were shiny. Laserdisc players were like a giant form of the cd player. When you pressed ‘open’ a huge shelf would come out, onto which the disc was placed.
