I am impressed by how cheap ,clean and organised your thrift stores are ! There is no excuse for you to be "not stylish" dear americains ! In my country thrift stores are certainly cheap (even cheaper than yours) but the clothes are usually worn out, dirty and you have to find somethin in a big pile of clothes (so good luck on finding a good piece with the right size)

Tailoring is pretty expensive where I’m at, so I went out and took some classes on the subject. Now I tailor my own clothing and it doesn’t even take that much time. Plus, I enjoy it and now my clothes fit better 💯
That's cool. I'm 16 and in my country most boys doesn't cook, because their parents never want to nor do they. In my case, I hate foods that my parents make. It stunted my growth. So, I started cooking on my own and surprisingly, I have a talent for it😂. Also, my growth started picking up again👍

Exactly. I went to Kohl’s and spent $250 on 5 sports coat, 1 suit and 3 slacks that we’re all on clearance. My tailoring for all of those items, is so far at $350.
I now have at least 18 outfits that will last me 3-5 years of heavy use.
However, to spend more in tailoring than the actual clothing is a bit harsh.
I completely agree, I had 2 dress pans that i needed to have tailored and it ran me about $55 which isn’t awful, but you still have to factor in the cost of tailoring
@@danielportillo6787 here tailoring is preety cheap. Modifying pants no matter what kind is 3 dollars, same with shirts. As for coats i don t know but i doubt gets past 10 if modifying is all it needs. And the minimum wage is 350$ so i guess it s fair

That is the first thing that came to my mind. I tailors can be kind of expensive, so to pay 10 bucks for a shirt and another, let's say 10 or 15 to a tailor, that times ten. Well having to pay a tailor to adjust every item you find at the store, that is a completely.
local tailors here can do it for less than a dollar

Yes, I was thinking the same. Probably tailoring all those garments must have cost almost $100. At least here in Brazil tailoring is not that cheap.

I am a Goodwill Shopper! 😆 A good tip is you just have to be willingly to look for the items. Slim fit, tapered, modern fit, etc are in there, but you got to be willingly to look. I also get my kids clothes from there to and people are surprised when they ask me where I got that from...lol Tip 2: Wash it before wearing it!😀

How much was the tailoring
I live in Honduras, and thrift stores here are very, very cheap. You can buy clothes for less tan 5 cents, and I'm noy lying about it. I've bought a trench coat the last week for 2.50 dollars. You can look stylish for a very little amount of money in Honduras. Thrift stores are the reason why I don't buy clothes at Zara, Forever 21, etc.

Depends on where you live. If it's a simple taper you can go to the cheapest local tailor and they should be able to do it. I've gotten jeans tapered and hemmed for what's equivalent to $3. I'm sure he pays a lot more though.
