Anyone else after years of listening to skyrim music even falling asleep while playing it as a kid consistintly shit like that, find it really REALLY hard to sleep without it?
I used to work in a horrible factory and this game was one of the few things to look forward to after leaving that hell everyday new adventures from a time long forgotten.

The user whom posted this used soundtracks from other sources like Oblívion (Skyrim's predecessor) and must have been using mods for additional soundtrack, there's info in the vid description about it. Anyway, the original soundtrack is also wonderful. Have you started playing yet? You should, it does feel like home sometimes...
I remember when it was bought for my birthday on 2011... this game was everything to me and still is. Idk how many times I've played Skyrim but I know that I will never be tired of it.. what a great game!
Do you only play main story? I did maybe 3 main quests then got into wandering with sidequests, then got bored, forgot what main story was about and stopped playing forever. Now i am thinking about returning and completing it. I completed fallout 3, nv and 4 in 100% but skyrim was different. It was too big and required too much traveling
@@artorias550 In my opinion Skyrim is too small, Oblivion seemed larger in comparison. Once you explore everything you'll wish to have more, and you'll be looking for mods to expand the world. But exploration is one of the points of the game. Story is not so important, you can completely ignore and play it just for the atmosphere and RPG. You can imagine your own story and vibes. (story is not THAT good either, it's just fantasy) it's not like Harry Potter or Lord Of The Rings.
@@twentytwo138 not sure what you mean by exploration. Walking around and looking at trees? Exploration in this game is fighting, doing simple quests and picking up tons of items xd So you cannot simply "explore" unfortunately.
Maybe my absolute favorite RPG Soundtrack of all time. The Ambient teacks by Jeremy are absolutely stunning. I really don't think anyone will ever beat the Skyrim Atmospheres in terms of beauty, atmosphere, sound design and the change in how i immediately feel when listening to these masterpieces in Ambient music. Even the absolute masters of Ambient like Steve Roach, John Serrie, Thom Brennan, Brian Eno and others only here and then master to produce ambient on par with the Skyrim Atmospheres. In terms of RPG soundtracks there aren't many works I would be able to consider as profound as the Skyrim soundtrack. Maybe Chrono Trigger...Secret of Mana and Final Fantasy 7. Then there is the Turrican 1 & 2 soundtracks by the legendary Amiga musician Chris Hülsbeck - but the soundtrack doesn't include Anbient and is more upbeat Trance/Techno with incredible melodic elements.
I was blessed to be 7 years old with a playstation when Skyrim came out. I’ve turned into an elder scrolls lore fanatic and even have a skyrim dark brotherhood tattoo. Debatably the best sountrack to a game.
The song at 41:40 is not from Skyrim. It's from Oblivion and is called Minstrel's Lament. Haven't finished this video but going to assume not all of these are from Skyrim. That being said, I really love this video.

Beautifully said. I run back to the Skyrim soundtrack when things get tough too. Being blissfully reminded on the happiness I felt when first playing this game is irreplaceable.

I love each bit of music included in this playlist, the ambience is such a great addition; it's making it possible for me to imagine the scenery that takes place in my tales. The music is one of the best OST I've heard, absolutely enchanting. The visuals are stunning as well! However it feels a bit strange to gasp over the imitation of nature scenes that, besides its fantasy creatures and overall storyline, aims to be as true to real nature as possible. The score serving as a companion for Planet Earth, tho 🤩

Skyrim is my favourite game of all time, have almost 1000 hours on it. Never get bored of it, and buying Anniversary Edition plus installing different mods just makes it even better.
Is there anyway you can give a download link for all of your mods so I can copy and paste it into my game files without having to download them one by one?
Unfortunately no - even if there was an "auto download and import" it wouldn't be able to do everything to make Skyrim look like this. There are several other tools that need to be run and edited - BethINI, Dyndolod, ENB edits, etc.... It took weeks of work to get this together, and it just isn't "script-able"
The best suggestion I can make would be check out the "skyrimmods" subreddit. I do not have a specific guide that I followed for mine - I kind of did everything piecemeal depending on what I thought looked good. Fortunately you don't need to spend a ton of time on it to dramatically improve skyrim - it is the details and fine-tuning that takes forever

It's amazing the re-playability of this game thanks to the modding community. However I struggle with the same quests over and over, and the animations are starting to look quite dated and well, silly. I hope Bethesda refreshes the franchise with a new Elder Scrolls soon.

@@artorias550 Main story is about the Dragonborn's fate. I won't ruin it for you but it it long-ish, and involves killing many dragons.
