Thanks Hugo, another superb video. I particularly enjoyed the second tram since it was along an extension that I have not riden on. Good view of the spedometer. Regards John
Hi John! I'm really glad you enjoyed this video and that the viewing angle is more to your liking! I hope you enjoy all the other videos you're watching through!
It's also the type of controller, made by Siemens! GE,and Westinghouse use a lever type control device, which is also used on locomotives, and Electric Multiple Units! There are many variations on controllers,as they have now, been in existence for well over a century! Hope this helps!'Thank you! Thank you 😇 😊!
Thanks Hugo for another extremely interesting video, I particularity liked your subtitles giving us all sorts of background information about our trip. It would have been even better if you had pointed out that the imposing building almost directly in front of us at Stadelhofen was the Zuirch Opera House. The 'orange line' indicating our route is very useful, but on this occasion you played it a bit too fast. Remember that route 8 takes an indirect very 'twisting' route.
Thank you for your kind comment! Yes indeed, I could have more directly used an arrow to point out where the opera house is :)) I'll keep in mind to play the map a little slower next time!
@@hugobazin8052 I remember there being a tram with pedals for acceleration and braking. Apparently it's really weird to drive one because you have nothing to do with your hands
Grazie.
Grazie a te per le due euro!!

Another attractive ride👍🦘🦘🦘
Thanks a looottttt!!😊😊
I love that cab view perspective of the city!
I'm delighted you do! It's a fantastic way to see Zurich!^^
The 8 is my twice a day tram when commuting in the winter, normally in summer I cycle to Zurich.
It's a great line regardless, but I agree that cycling in summer must be nice, even though I personally always prefer the tram :)
Dzień dobry, ładna trasa 👍🚈
Miłego dnia 🖐️☕
Pozdrawiam, Janusz z Warszawy Polska 💪🇵🇱
I'm glad you enjoyed it Janusz! Have a nice day!☀️🎉
Beautiful view ❤
It really is!

What is the function of what looks like a steering wheel
To control power and braking

It's so funny to me that these trams look like they have a steering wheel
It's the most frequent comment I get, but I guess to others, any different form of driving a tram would seem strange too, like pedals😂
