I love that Zach king is so good that he’s the standard you’re comparing a literal Disney show to. It’s not that Zach is as good as Hollywood effects, it’s that Hollywood is as good as Zach.
It's super quick, but how about Randall Park's magic trick in WandaVision Episode 4? Building off of his characters interest in magic from Ant Man and the Wasp.
I loved that WandaVision scene so much. And I think it’s funny how the audience accepts those answers for how the trick works bc real audiences will even accept any solution they think works no matter whether it’s the actual solution or not
I developed this weird sign off in my personal conservation... I have been saying ciaoder... like chowder. Not sure why, it just starting happening one day and so now I just roll with it.
It’s cool you review the magic scene in Wandavision - it’s what brought me here! And yeah, basically the plan is that [SPOILER ALERT] Vision was supposed to do magic tricks the traditional way, but he got in the drunken state when he accidentally digest a gum which stuck his gears, so Wanda tries to cover all those impossible feats by showing off the tricks! She though their show is a disaster, but Dottie marks it as a comedy XD Do a show on Jimmy’s card magic, it appears he had mastered it
Idk if you saw this suggestion in the previous magic reaction video, as the video was a couple weeks old by the time I commented it: The "Here You Come Again" scene near the end of Dumplin' (2018) has a few basic prop tricks that are worth checking out. They're done pretty smoothly and the fact that they're incorporated into the dance choreography is really neat.
For different (I dunno if they're obscure per se) ways to say goodbye: Sayonara and arrivederci are two of my favorites. In Dutch, you can say "doei" which is great because non-Dutch speakers are often confused by the triple vowel. "Tot ziens" might be slightly easier and means something closer to "until next time".
Just dropping by to give some positivity. I love waking up to your videos and cracking a beer with ya haha you're great man!im going through some shit rn so thank you for you videos. They help me get through this..Love you Wes! 🍻
The levitating piano in Wandavision was never a full weight piano while levitating. It was 3 dimensional, but you can see by how easily his movements affect the motion of the hanging piano, showing its not that heavy. It does also change to a flat prop when she takes it away. Both props were probably made at the same time by the same people, perhaps just for that stunt.
Ok the diary of a wimpy kid trick with the lady in half would actually be amazing if you had your assistant go in and then the legs didn't match but when they came out they did. A simple pants change in the box would be able to make it happen. It's actually free realastate for a stage magician.
Sorry Wes the editing was more than what you talked, till the time Wanda holds the Piano it was still 3 dimensional, the moment she moves it turns cardboard.
@WES Barker Try Criminal Minds season 4 episode 9 Dr. Spencer Reid uses magic to pick up a bartender. Other episodes with magic include season 2 episode 12; season 11 episode 22; and season 01 episode 09.
I love your magic cover in TV shows and movies!! Great points and the funnest ever!! And I just re-watch a Monk episode full of magic haha it would be great if you cover any teaser! S7E15, please!
Could you check out Inside No. 9 S5E4 (Misdirection)? Not sure how you would access it in the US but if you could, there's a few magic tricks in there worth checking out.
For the Wandavision piano scene you can see the jump of the jump cut. Since these were done in the 60s television style, think bewitched and I dream of jeannie typeof jump cut. I am thinking this was done as fitting the genre not error.
Haha you did the Zorro scene! Here's another (that I don't think I mentioned yet). In the comedy "Airplane" there's an egg scene where he uses sleight of hand. Check it out!
I’m not sure if it’s been mentioned, so in Ant man Paul Rudd does a back palm to Agent Woo, well in the latest episode of WandaVision (ep5) agent Woo does the back palm to Monica Rambeau
How about any of the card tricks in Shade (2003) I don't think Stallone did his own stunts in this movie but the card manipulation is extremely professional.
In the prestige there's a scene where Christian bale waves his hand over a red ball and makes it disappear, is that a real magic trick? And how does it work
Great video Wes! 👍 I just watched S4e18 of Big Bang Theory where Sheldon spends the whole episode trying to work out a card trick by Howard - might be worth a look?
I dare you to make that "hat through the body" a practical trick. Not the obvious way but actually like in the episode where you see the hat melt away as it were.I bet you can. I speak a few languages, English (obviously), dutch, and as obscure language; Low Saxon in the Tweants dialect. 340.00 Native speakers
Hey Wes! Please react to the how I met your mother scene where Jon Lithagow (Barney's dad) tries to reconnect with him. He pretends to drink a bunch of shots then later reveals it was all sleight of hand.
Hey, if you're looking for more movies with magic to review stepmom has a child magician and I think its practical. It's on canadian netflix right now.
Why haven’t you talked about now you see it. That’s right, not me, it. It’s an old Disney magician movie from 2005 with a ton of magic in it. Got a whole episode there
Dam it Wes. I was going to leave u a comment about WondaVison and you already know about it. Every time I think of one for you to review you already have a video on it. One of these days I will find a good one for you
The weather outside is frightful... but Wes Barker reacting to movie magic is so delightful...
... And since we've no place to go... Let us go and enjoy the great show.
@@helixagent1155 let us be awake very late with no one but our soulmate
Yellow snow, yellow snow, yellow snow.
Title says Marvel Show Magic.
Doesn’t have the best magician: Ant-Man.
I think he’s already had Ant-man’s card/magic in a react video on this channel...
tconlon251 He only knows one trick. The one Scott Lang taught him.
Are we not going to talk about Randall Park showing off the backpalm he learned from Blake Vogt in his entrance in Wandavision?
Man i am addicted to all these magicians (wes , chris , eric , alex b, alex p, spidey )
You will get your fix when Big Trick Energy drops in April on Tru TV!
@@lgnir yes i cant wait!!!!!!!!!
A bright and happy watch thanks Wes, anything to help this dreadful Lockdown cheers.
"Penultimate" is what you get before you go to Teller. ;)
Yeah I've been waiting for this one since the episode came out, I knew you would do it!
I loved that WandaVision scene so much. And I think it’s funny how the audience accepts those answers for how the trick works bc real audiences will even accept any solution they think works no matter whether it’s the actual solution or not
"If it were a real magician they would have added fire", fair enough
I would love to see you react to magic from the show The Mentalist
I developed this weird sign off in my personal conservation... I have been saying ciaoder... like chowder. Not sure why, it just starting happening one day and so now I just roll with it.
Have you reacted to any of the magic in the tv show Deception? I would loooove to see you talk about some of those tricks
Been waiting for another one!
WandaVision is one of my favorite shows rn
It’s cool you review the magic scene in Wandavision - it’s what brought me here!

Do a show on Jimmy’s card magic, it appears he had mastered it
I’d love to see you react to the opening scene of The Magicians when Quentin does his coin trick
my fave magician!! they did better then I expected..... both ways....

I enjoy these React videos very much. Somebody hire this guy as a magic consultant for movies and TV! It's more believable if it can actually be done.
I would love to see you do this with the whole movie "Magic Camp". LOVE these videos Mr. Barker. You are the shit my man!
Saw Copperfield live in Oslo. Left the venue just agreeing that yeah, the man actually can fly. It was *super* clean.
Ahhh I love these sooo much! As always, great work!
The clown wasn't doing all the heavy lifting in that one. The coffee table was. :)
One of my favorite magician love it man 💯🥇‼️
There is a great little card trick in My Cousin Vinny when Vinny first visits Ralph in prison. Might be worth a look
Just dropping by to give some positivity. I love waking up to your videos and cracking a beer with ya haha you're great man!im going through some shit rn so thank you for you videos. They help me get through this..Love you Wes! 🍻
Have you checked out the “Death/Life” card trick in Viktor Frankenstein? (with James Mcavoy and Daniel Radcliffe)
7:02 - Not sure if he's a magician, but that actor played Harmon on the Show Blue Mountain State... I hope I wasn't the only one who caught that.
Have you done a video on how to deal with people who try and ruin your trick? I always resort to self working card tricks

If you haven't reacted to The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, then you definitely should.

A simple pants change in the box would be able to make it happen. It's actually free realastate for a stage magician.
I thought the coffee table was doing the heavy lifting?
Haha well said... well said.
You didn’t mention that WandaVision gave away the vanishing cabinet illusion. Near the beginning of the episode.
Sorry Wes the editing was more than what you talked, till the time Wanda holds the Piano it was still 3 dimensional, the moment she moves it turns cardboard.
Loved this try reacting on magic in a series called deception i am sure you can make a whole video out of it
Good luck👍👍
I have 2 for you
1) Nash Bridge episode 1 the pilot
2) Monk episode Mr Monk and the Magician
Hey, so when is BOB coming back??
Wouldn't say I can speak it fluently but Gaelic, we are all thought it still
I was kind of hoping to see you talk about the "drunken" intro Vision gives to the magic act. It seemed very Penn & Teller to me.
The audio was making it copywrite impossible
@WES Barker
Try Criminal Minds season 4 episode 9 Dr. Spencer Reid uses magic to pick up a bartender.
Other episodes with magic include season 2 episode 12; season 11 episode 22; and season 01 episode 09.
I did it on a previous video... not sure which one exactly
@@WesBarker
I found the bar scene you reviewed. What about the other scenes? I suggested a few others. Did you already do those too?
I love your magic cover in TV shows and movies!! Great points and the funnest ever!!
And I just re-watch a Monk episode full of magic haha it would be great if you cover any teaser! S7E15, please!
Cabinet trick at the start of the episode, not from the performance, was probably worth reviewing.
Great video 🤟 and here is a "Goodbye" to add to your list 🙄🤣.... "Slán leat" which is "Goodbye" here in Ireland 🇮🇪

9:30 Look closer. It’s still 3D when she grabs it, you can see her behind the leg. Super clean editing there!

Video can help more people understand magic , love magic ,
More and more people like magic,
Thank you very much Sir
I would suggest for the perfect cut they used a greenscreen prop and put a "perfect-cut" image on top of it in the post.
Yo I just started following you the other day thanks to your friend Chris!
How about any of the card tricks in Shade (2003) I don't think Stallone did his own stunts in this movie but the card manipulation is extremely professional.

"Two and a half men" was a cool show. Love your videos
Episode 4 of Wandavision was SOOOO good!
@WES Barker
Season 8, episode 22 of MASH called "Dreams". Major Winchester performs magic.
Great fan Wes. Lots of love from India. ❤️❤️
Love these videos. How about Pesci's card trick in My Cousin Vinny? Or did you already do that and I missed it?
I did it. In the episode with Peter McKinnon
@@WesBarker Thanks. Sorry I missed it. I promise I won't miss another one!

COVID baby!! As soon as that’s over let’s do it!!
EARLY AND LOVE YOUR VIDS!!
Another amazing video thanks wes
The next time it should be a full two beers episode! 🥰
A real evaluator drinking real beer in his real home. (TV only shows actors with fake alcohol in studios)
My uncle Bill used to do the disappearing leg trick when I was a kid
Wes I have a question? I notice you mentioned Zack King type MAGIC. Is Zack King a real Magician or is he only a TV magic personality?
The mentalist does a few magic tricks throughout the show, I am particularly curious about the coin vanish he does
Can you teach us how to do the trick that Jimmy Woo does in episode 4 with his card?
Great video Wes! 👍 I just watched S4e18 of Big Bang Theory where Sheldon spends the whole episode trying to work out a card trick by Howard - might be worth a look?

Nice choice on beer Wes 😂
Mirrors, yes indeed. My mom thinks that 95% of the stage sticks are based on mirrors (not even magnets or strings...)
Hey Wes! Please react to the how I met your mother scene where Jon Lithagow (Barney's dad) tries to reconnect with him. He pretends to drink a bunch of shots then later reveals it was all sleight of hand.
at 3:58 looks like „the Other Brothers“. 😉
Thank you for Wanda Vision review
One of the recent videos on the Monk TH-cam channel has a magician in it and he does several tricks. Some of them look pretty good to me.
Idk if you have seen it yet or not, but in Ant Man and the Wasp, in the first 15 min or soo PAUL Rudd does 3 different magic tricks lol
React to the at the card table scene from my name is still trinity
Love all your vids, carry on the good work, but post more plz
If you haven't already seen it, the X-files "The Amazing Maleeni" (season 7 episode 8) has several great scenes and stars the late Ricky Jay.
Could you possibly react to the Dreamworks animated short "To: Gerard"
Hey wes, i'm from Holland. Can you take a look at a dutch magic movie?
Coin magic in the show Trial And Error Season 2 Ep. 4 A Hole In The Case. It looks like he is legit doing it.
Video idea - you should do a reaction to 5 minute crafts magic trick hacks! Lol obviously not to see good magic 😅
I love opening a beer with a beer!
How dare you, that clown is not creepy, that's Rose.....wait
What about that scene where a bunch of pumpkin spiced latte ends up on the ground

Nice to see a video with some magic in it, but I'm wondering if there's any other conspiracy theories about famous magicians coming soon
You should look at the magic of the fictional duo Rebo and Zooty from the Babylon 5 episode "Day of the Dead".
