You've provided a great series of videos during your 10-day cruise on the Carnival Venezia, all of which I thoroughly enjoyed. I am amazed at how many videos you were able to make, I hope you also saved a little time for yourself to actually relax and enjoy the cruise too. Thanx for sharing your journey with all of us.

Danny, its not the size of your ship that matters its how you sail it that counts. Great recap.
Totally agree about the lack of Chinese food. I wished cruise ships offered more Chinese food, especially Dim Sum.
:) THANKS MUCH for sharing! STILL... LOL at small Chinese ship! I have seen them at Buffets, and they are a MOB! I am shorter than yo but a Baby Buddah Belly :) ENJOYED the series, but kind of surprising not much open 24/7? ALL the BEST and Cheers!
Danny, I am glad you had a better experience on this one. I hope you will rethink not doing more. Go on one of the bigger Carnival ships. It will blow and change your mind fast.

Your cruise was fine. You don't want a big cruise ship that's crowded and plenty of rowdy party people. 👍.
DTM, you r now in Vegas so you can pick up cruises out of LA and San Fran. The cruise ships are bigger with sailings to the Mexican Riviera, Hawaii, Alaska and the California Coast. Check the dimensions of the ship and layout before picking a cruise. Even free cruises should be comfortable. Generally the newer the ship, the bigger the ship. Your viewers will be amazed at how big and many venues are on these newer launched ships. Check the cruise lines website to get the dimensions and deck layout. Thanks for all the videos. Your cruises seem to improve incrementally as you do more. 😊
Also taking the Jubilee out of Galveston would be fun.
I may have another free cruise coming, there is a holland america tier match offer I will look into it
Had a great time watching all 19 cruise videos. All cruises I've been on had staff from countries that English is not their first language. The only one I've heard of that has a majority of English speakers is the cruise that goes around the Hawaiian Islands..the staff is American, I believe.

DTM 5'10 200 lbs. That might mean Tung and Steve might be over 6 ft...that's pretty big guys... pretty big
The low ceilings are a definite pass, unfortunately.
Great report, Danny! Glad you enjoyed the ship. Personally I think the Venezia is a normal size cruise ship that I'm used to, and that every other modern cruise ship built in the last few years are mega sized, lol.
Also on your ship, the Chinese food was at the Seafood Shack served for lunch on Sea days. Free Chinese food buffet.

I truly enjoyed your Carnival videos. I have been on 8 Carnival ships and I like the smaller ones best. Less people and less crowding. I have been on the Panarama which is about the same size as the Venezia, a bit too big for me. Regarding late night eating, I get a sandwich at the deli early and have it in my room for a late night snack. I think trying the Mardi Gras, Celebration or Jubilee would be fun for you.
The ship itself isn't small in terms of length width and gross tonnage but now I know what you mean

Hope your disembarkation went well. In my past 20 odd cruises disembarkation went smoothly 50% of the time. The rest I'd rather forget.
they really needed employees that speak better english to give directions, but otherwise it was okayish

But the ship is the same size of the Disney Magic, which is the best ship I've been on. Danny, often the smallest vessels are the most expensive, because Luxury ships are smaller vessels. Not having to "walk a mile" to dinner, is a great thing! If you had been on Carnival Celebration, you would understand, "MGM Grand at Sea!"
Watching the rest of your video, Danny you have many good points. The with of the stairs, chairs, height of celling's etc.

The Venezia was originally from Costa Cruises from Italy also a part of Carnival Corporation.
If I had a free offer like this I would go no matter what I very seldom get any vacation time… but like DANNY the MEDIC I would not pay 💰 for extras ❤

On average, the Chinese stature is smaller. Avg male height is like 5’8” , female is like 5’3”.
I guessed correctly that DTM is 5’10”, but never thought you were 200lbs! Life with good food!
It's only an inch for men and a half inch differerence for women. The ceilings are low as to cram more people on board. $$$
I been to asia and from what I seen, the population are really short, and the physical structures of society there was smaller. maybe they do that to cram more ppl, but USA customers would not like cramming, I hope they send that ship back to china
@@dannythemedic not only shorter but significantly thinner in Asia. Their furniture, bedding, appliances, and even restaurant tables are diminutive. The ship would Likely sail in Asia due to higher demands and resulting profits.

i ask a parttime ytuber who happens to also work on cruise line for a long time about how he like cruise buffet food, he compared that to Golden Corral, which i think is about right based on DTM videos, how for me, i wont be spending couple hundred dollars eating Golden Corral food for 10 days, not me. And if no internet, i will be bored out of my mind
There is a lot to say about having small size if Chinese built the ship what is the size of most Chinese?
the ship was built in italy, FOR the Chinese Market. Chinese stuff is smaller than USA, I would wear a size L here in USA, and in china I would be like XXL.
