Like you said earlier they have a captive audience. Double zero on the roulette ; 6/5 Blackjack and bad video poker. I am sure they are making a ton of money on the slot machine too. This is not a venue where you have any chance of making a profit with advantage play. Almost makes it easy to not gamble at all.
Because we do gamble on board , Carnival offers us free drinks anywhere on the ship. Not just the casino. But, you need to gamble.
SO if you hit the 1500 pts, you get drinks free even at the pool, restaurants?
@@alyssadiceflipper5201 No, just in casino while playing. Carnival has a ViFP casino program. If you have land based casino players cards you can upload them to Oceans Casino and you may receive free cruise offers
No the points 1500 is just for in the casino. The drinking everywhere on the ship is a casino cruise offer for some cruisers.
Thanks DTM for the casino tour. Looks like the casino is pretty big for the size ship you're on with a nice variety of REVERSE ATM machines. As for highlighting the HOST desk, really who cares. All that matters is that the little computers on the PODIUMS have your JACKPOT listed😊. Goodluck in the casino with the house advantage you pointed out. Hopefully, the casino will give you a free cruise afterwards if you gamble enough. Another set of cruise content for your viewers. Yay!😂😊❤
like vegas...cruises are all about making money for the cruise line....back in the day the food was much better the gambling gave more perks....now its a rip-off...i will fly to Aruba where the weather is guaranteed 80 degrees and my room doesnt make me feel like a sardine in a can....but u have fun lol
I avoid frozen drinks. They’re pretty much just an ice delivery system with little alcohol.

DANNY THE MEDIC- My first Vegas trips I noticed the SAME thing as you the servers around the slot machines were either "hit or miss" and mostly ignored you IF they saw you were half-distracted by the machines. I started ONLY looking for the servers FIRST and making my order first and giving them a $5 RIGHT AWAY... then they keep coming back DIRECTLY to you
but the $5....
@@dannythemedic Unfortunately you have to tip (at least the first time) or they are professionals at ignoring those who don’t.
I tip a buck or two when they deliver the drink.. but the 5 at the beginning, I will still tip a buck or two at the delivery.. thats alotta money!

I've never seen a shipboard casino, this was interesting.
I never gamble on a cruise ship. The odds for both the slots and video games are really stacked against the player. I usually buy a beer and then walk around the casino and do some people watching. I have been on 20+ cruises with all the various lines and I have NEVER seen anyone win big. Enough said.

1,500 points for a free drink. No wonder DTM drinks tap water. The casino host desk looks like they are going to sell you some solar panels or cable tv.
They got camera on the casino ceiling recording your tour.😅 So no free drinks for you.

At craps, I don't play field unless 12 pays triple. But they have the All Tall Small bet, which Royal Caribbean does not have.

I've been on 1 Carnival cruise, and I wasn't impressed. I know of other people who like this cruise line, but I've chosen other cruise lines and had better experiences. This ship, in particular, seems to be pretty old and understaffed, maybe?!?
At least in the non-smoking area...a smoker will not be sitting next to you, so that is better than nothing 😊

OH im not big into cruises.. I am not against them either, I went on these because it was free and NYC had a port... now that I am back in vegas I dont see me going on another cruise soon.
