Hey everyone! VA for Anise here! ❤ Thank you so so much for you're guys' support and love for this creation! It was insanely fun to voice and the fact people are saying i sound like auntie Ethel warms my heart! Lets see just what your made of, little crickets! AHhahahahah!!!!!
Heavy Burns clearly was inspired by the Ladies of Wood from The Witcher 3. I like it Edit: And also inspired by Auntie Ethel the Hag from Baldurs Gate 3 by the looks of it too
I mean, most creatures in most RPGs were in their initial releases based on D&D, and TES is no exception. The first ever entry even had beholders before they removed em for copyright reasons.
A new hand touches the beacon. Listen. Hear me and obey. A foul darkness has seeped into my temple. A darkness that you will destroy. Return my beacon to Mount Kilkreath. And I will make you the instrument of my cleansing light.
OMG my friend Ren voices the hag and I had no idea until she spoke and INSTANTLY recognised her voice 😂😂 she did such a good job!!! Can’t wait to see more of this sucker 👀
A quest expanding on an existing character that is also voiced with new location and items is exactly the kind of mods i would pay for lol thanks for the vid i was on the fence about purchasing a mod but this seems worth $10 let alone $5
I just started it on my level 57 character (anise is already dead…been dead) and it worked smooth as butter bro the crone version spawned right as I walked up to her home and now I’m exploring the foul wood! I love creations bro ❤
Creations pricing is so odd. This creation comes with a new landmass, ingredients, creatures, among other things. Priced at 500 credits, pretty reasonable based on what’s offered. Meanwhile, that Silent Moons creation just had a few weapons that couldn’t be upgraded well. Nothing else of note. Priced at 600 credits? Really? Doesn’t make sense to me.
Different creators setting their own prices will lead to these inconsistencies. In the case of Coven I think the team is going to pressure other creators to rethink how they value their own releases.
I agree. Pricing is kinda subjective. I downloaded (I think it's called) Fortress of Ice for $1. You can't beat that & well worth that for the numerous bandit/boss fights alone. But then I paid $4 for The Lost Doomstone & was a bit disappointed. Beautifully made, but a short dungeon (I'll admit I was OP, however). And it turned out the "Nirn Stone" kinda played havoc with my conjuration. 😕 I wasn't the fan of Bards College Expansion that's others were. Nice big mod, wasn't a fan of the story. I'm really happy to get new content, though, especially if it "fleshes out" characters & adds new world space/dungeons. I'll spend the $5 for this.
I feel that most of the early creations were overpriced for they offered. They really dropped the ball on that, which gave a bad first impression on creations as a whole. Even worse than creation club, which at least there is the option of getting everything thru the anniversary edition now. Sometimes the upgrade is offered on sale too. Last few big creations like the Bards College expansion and Blood and Snow were priced reasonably for the amount of content they offered. This helps the reputation of the system as a whole.
I like how the hag is based on Auntie Ethel from Baldur's Gate 3 lol. They sound almost identical too. This one looks good I might buy it. I LOVED Bard's College expansion. This one looks like it is worth money just like that one. Official dlc amount of content.
Hey there, it would be nice indeed to have something that points you to Anise. As for me, I’m playing with Interesting NPCs and there’s an npc in The Winking Skeever that points you to Anise’s Cabin. He was freaked out by her btw
I just checked and the mods work fine together. Anise's journal on Redcap spawns in a stone tile on the floor without collisions. Redcap recognizes Anise as dead all the same whether you kill her before or after setting him free. Perhaps in the future, Pixiebomb and/or Hightale will create a proper interaction patch.
I had a friend that used to lie to me about Skyrim stuff when we talked about the game. He once told be Anise from that hut gave you a quest when you reached level 40. Granted,we were children back then but I am still salty about his lie being prophetic.
For people with arachnophobia, there is a mod replacing all spider enemy types with other wanted, even a mod for random enemy types, I would recommend the mudcrab replacement tho, since it's the closest to a spider so you don't cheat yourself ... or make things even harder.
Yes, there should only be a couple episodes left for Blood and Snow, but I will be continuing that alongside Coven of Crones. There's a lot of good stuff in the works, so we might see some series running simultaneously moving forward
@0periodproductions I mean didn't you lower the reqs to complete the main quest line for the Quarra? I mean aside from some mild radient differences, both sides play the same and the Cronvangr were what, 8 parts?
So I try to put credits onto my skyrim account and they just don't show up? Can someone explain why that is? I did ten dollars worth and the credits don't show up.
Open ended question here, any role-play suggestions for a good alignment character to go snooping around a seemingly innocent old woman’s cabin? As in, not a thief.
29:43 so speaking of lock picking mods, while I prefer the Skyrim one to oblivion (I love the feeling of finding juuust the right little sweet spot~), I would, however, like to see a combination of the two more like actual lock picking. Not only would you have to find the right pattern for the tumbling pins, but it also have to find the sweet spot to turn to so that it stays in place. I’d like to see a mod that does that
So, is anyone going to ask the question why most Creation quests don't have additional voice acting instead of religiously relying upon notes? I mean I am definitely going to try out this Creation some time as there finally feels like something for me to actually pay for versus glorified generic early Nexus mods. Also, since I have a mod installed that only has some of the Anniversary Edition Creation Club content enabled, are there any Creations that are required for it to work or is it like a standalone add-on. As a side note, whoever decided that there should be no normal means of not having having all included Creation Club content for Anniversary being disabled or even an option to have either all or none of it enabled should be smacked.
makes you wonder, between creation club and verified creators, not to mention ALL THE MODs, was Skyrim made to be a canvas for gamers and programmers to add to.
I redid my load order mainly because of this creation and I also put Clockwork and undeath remastered cuz I never finished those two and I figured why not because of Halloween. 😅👻 🎃 🎃
Hi George and everyone, i need advice please, i finished watching ROC is it compatible with AE, i did look online but all i see is Rigmor haters, i really enjoy these mods thanks in advance
It's just that some interiors might not look right with ENB because of the custom lighting they did for the Creation. I haven't had any real issues yet though
I just checked and the hag Anise spawns once you walk up to the cabin’s entrance if you killed her prior to downloading the mod. The conditions seem to check for Anise's ID to be set to dead and the player is within the trigger zone as opposed to immediately spawning if Anise is killed with the mod active. Actually a really nice fail safe on the Team's part. Disregard the comment. While Anise spawns correctly, her body won't have the cellar key you need to open the locked door. However, you can still get inside if you have the wax key perk and did not unlock the cellar hatchway before. Possibly sprinting with a plate could also work.
I swea r I've seen that first cave (bloodgorge) layout in vanilla Skyrim, not the beginning part of the cave but the one towards the end. that was quite... Jarring to see, ngl. But there's a chance I might be mistaken.
@@BigHatLoganGaming i’ll keep playing around and see if something changes, i left the cave and she begs you to come back and kill her. In the journal she mentions her mother and father, maybe if i find them something will change.
Making the story dependent on Anise is a bit unecessary in my opinion. Might as well have created a new character to start things up. Edit: In addition... the way you start your new epic journey into a new land is... entering a musty granny's basement? The rest of the mod looks awesome, but I think it would have made more sense to take a ship to the location.
The mod looks like it has the potentiel of being the best mod yet. But damn what happen if I already killed Anise… Edit: ok turns out its no big deal just revisit the cabin and you’ll see Anise showing up.
Some of the dialogue at the beginning is maybe inspired by Auntie Ethel but it stands well enough on its own. Its not that deep and neither game company cares as there wasn't any legal issues so I wouldn't worry about it.
Bro! Too much talking! You needn’t talk the ENTIRE TIME! I get you’re nerdy and having a good time or either it’s nervous talk but you can just sit and enjoy the game sometimes. 😅

@oat-mel like the song of blood and snow and now this and the fact the modders have more respect for the lore is refreshing too

New anise lore??
In the many years I've played skyrim I have never done an archer build. I'm currently on my 50th spellsword character.
Was this mod based on a part of BG 3?
