Trapianto manuale barbatelle uva da tavola: guida completa

Il trapianto manuale delle barbatelle di uva da tavola è un'operazione importante per garantire una buona crescita delle piante e una produzione di uva di alta qualità. Siamo a febbraio, in un periodo in cui le aziende effettuano l’innesto in campo. In questo video, ti mostrerò passo dopo passo come eseguire il trapianto manuale delle barbatelle di uva da tavola.
Il metodo tradizionale è il trapianto manuale a radice corta dove di solito viene utilizzata una forchetta dotata di due punte che servono per agganciare la barbatella in corrispondenza del nodo dove si sviluppano le radici. In questo caso le radici vengono tagliate corte, di pochi centimetri, e attraverso l’utilizzo di questa forchetta accompagniamo lentamente la pianta all’interno di una buca che è stata preventivamente creata attraverso una trivella.
Quali sono i vantaggi di questo metodo: innanzitutto c’è una maggiore accuratezza e precisione nel posizionare la barbatella, rispettare, quindi, l’allineamento sarà più semplice; c’è la possibilità inoltre di lavorare anche dopo un evento piovoso che non sia naturalmente esagerato; infine utilizzando un getto d’acqua ad alta pressione per chiudere la buca garantiamo che acqua e terreno possano aderire alle radici evitando quindi la formazione di sacche d’aria o bolle d’aria che possono provocare danni.
Gli svantaggi invece quali sono? Innanzitutto quando tagliamo la radice corta, di pochi centimetri, ci aspettiamo un attecchimento più lento, quindi risposta vegetativa più lenta; altro svantaggio è che è necessaria una manualità specializzata, per poter utilizzare la forchetta, agganciare la barbatella e inserirla nella buca; e i costi per questo tipo di trapianto sono superiori rispetto al lavoro che potrebbe essere meccanizzato.

Welcome to Upgrape the first online training program dealing with table grapes.
Grafting in the field, we winegrowers, do it on a one-year-old rooted vine shoot, or rootstock. But how are they actually transplanted?
The traditional method is the manual short root transplant where a fork with two tips is usually used to hook the vine shoot at the node where the roots develop. In this case, the roots are cut short, a few centimeters, and through the use of this fork we slowly accompany the plant inside a hole that has been previously created through an auger.
What are the advantages of this method: first of all, there is greater accuracy and precision in positioning the vine shoots, thus respecting the alignment will be easier; there is also the possibility of working even after a rainy event that is not naturally exaggerated; finally, by using a high pressure water jet to close the hole, we ensure that water and soil can adhere to the roots, thus avoiding the formation of air pockets or air bubbles that can cause damage.
What are the disadvantages? First of all, when we cut the short root, a few centimeters, we expect a slower engraftment, therefore a slower vegetative response; another disadvantage is that a specialized manual skill is required, in order to use the fork, hook the vine shoot and insert it into the hole; and the costs for this type of transplant are higher than the mechanized work.
