Now throw your hands in the air
And wave 'em like you just don't care
And if you like fish and grits and all that pimp shit
Everybody let me hear you say, "O-Yea-yer"

+Sebster_Lindgren_98 STFU. The reason why the 90s seem so great is that all the really good shit is already picked out and you don't need to hear the bad shit. The amount of trash hip hop in the 90s is comparable to today's. There's so much great hip hop releasing today. You probably gonna say that J Cole, Lil Wayne, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Vince Staples, Jay Rock, Schoolboy Q and Kaye West are trash rappers too huh? Real hip hop heads listen to all hip hop. Not to mention today's artists are even more technical on a lyrical level thatn a lot of 90s rappers and the production is also on another level. You can blame OutKast, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Lil Wayne and the Bay Area for today's hip hop if you don't like it. You probably don't even know who KRS One, Rakim, Tribe Called Quest, Fugees, Living Legends or anybody for that matter. You kids of the "Wrong generation" probably only think there was Nas, Dr. Dre, Snoop, 2pac and Biggie. Fuckin fake listeners.

+Gamer Nation nas illmatic was underrated for 10 years not appreciate but cormega is another who some rarely knows. Sean price died not too long ago rip and rakim is well know but not enough to talk about. I think we prefer old rap bcuz it was at it prime and the style or "vibe" is uncommon now. I know some rappers today can relate some ways but they can't have the same style or it would just suck in general but my opinion is old school rap which I prefer gets me in a chillin mood. The beats were either smooth or rage spiking. Like outkast ATLiens I would stay in my car and play it out loud.
