Great tips. Don't force yourself to make opened questions. If the person just answers yes or no, it's likely they are not interested in talking to you. Someone who is willing to talk is gonna work into making it flow.

I've decided to binge watching your videos to get better results into my English journey, to cut off my mistakes once and for all, I'm a self touch student, I started studying English during the pandemic situation because, I wanted to occupy my mind with something,I couldn't imagine I would be so far in the language, the reason I'm saying this is because I was about to turn 33 years old, I had to work,to take care of my kids, the house work 😂 but here I am and by the way really excited to find someone like you Tiago, you're an extraordinary person, I love watching your videos ❤

I'm good at listening, writing and speaking (the pronunciation of words), I can easily translate a text or something that someone is saying from portuguese to English, but I always struggle when I'm going to speak something that comes from me, like I mix up the words, forget them, and even pronounce them incorrectly, I'm working on improving it, but it's been tough ( sorry about any mistake I might have committed, I still haven't mastered the English completely)

How to keep the conversation going on:
    - use open-ended question. with wh question. avoid yes/no question
    - ask follow-up question
    - smoothly transition topic when the topic is running out
    - interact and show interest in the topic (smile, nod, eye contact)
    - talking with people who want to have the conversation with you. the conversation like tennis match. you send to ball to your partner and they need to send it back to you. don't be too hard on yourself. maybe the issue from other person (not you). let get it out and find other person

Hi Thiago 👋🏻, I just wanted to tell you that I followed one of your advices and opened my own TH-cam channel. In one of your amazing videos you said that a good way to start practicing our English was by having our own podcast and that's what I just did.
Thank you so much Thiago, I appreciate a lot all of your content ❤

My huge problem is to formulate right sentences in english. I can understand a little well, to listen to and so forth. But formulate what I want mean, is a real problem. I guess.
