Keeping taxes down and a rural feel close enough to big cities. Most people who move to Lehigh like the freedom, low taxes and no HOAs. Leave us alone. Go crowd the coastline

Lehigh is only growing residentially, not commercially. There's only a handful of businesses in Lee Blvd. And hundreds of thousands looking for a job. The area does not support the prices of the houses being sold. That's why almost 90% of lehigh homes are divided into multiple "efficiencies". Cause the owners bought the properties too inlfated, and then discovered that in lehigh there's not enough income to support an outrageous mortgage of $3000+ a month, so they divide the house, and live in the living room, and the rest is rented out. That's why you drive around Lehigh, and there's an average of 5-7+ cars parked in the front of most houses, cause multiple families, or a bunch of strangers must occupy the property in order to be able to afford the payment. That may work for a while, but in the long run, it is a recipe for disaster. As soon as the realstate market crashes hard like it is set to do, I'll be moving out of lehigh for good, and will buy a property somewhere else. This city is not good to raise children, or to live a happy tranquil life. It used to, but not anymore.

It would be terrible if Lehigh Acres incorporated. No one can afford that and we’re not trying to turn into Cape Coral( the worst most corrupt city) in Lee County

Lee County, in general, is great for older folks. But for young adults is utterly a waste. Absolutely NOTHING to do over there. The night life is pathetic. Glad I moved from there years ago.

Lehigh Acres is quite and it give you freedom, not like big cities like Miami and Hallandale Beach Florida and traffic and nightlife.🫡
