Lmao I complete forgot I did that hahhaa
Hahahahahaha 😂🤣🤣
@@GCPerformance18 it's called a freudian frame slip
scott always kills it with price points and best bang for the buck, I was truly pleased with how this bike came out in person.... I have one large left in stock
Unfortunately the price has gone up a good bit
$5600 is really good, compare that to the epic evo price offerings.
Yea I think so too
@@GCPerformance18 what is the max chainring tooth compatible with this bike frame thanks
It’s sort of sandwiched between the Spesh Comp and Expert. Better components, better design, but the Expert comes with carbon wheels. Though these wheels are damn good for alloy. No dropper on the RC tho.
Glad to see bicycle companies finally standardizing the bolts on a bike model.
:)
Good and honest video with alot of relevant details and facts. Keep up the good work :)
Glad you liked it
Just got mine today, after 7 months of waiting
congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really like that they didn’t keep the new shock style for just the top end bike.
Same here. It looks really nice
Damn beautiful bike. My Scott Genius is 26.01lbs with pedals and I've been watching how all categories of MTB is going up in weight. It was only a few years ago a top of the line XC bike was 20-21lbs. I want the new frame (as it would match my Scott Addict RC's same paint job) but I would swap the handle bar for the Syncros Hixon, replace the SRAM eagle for Shimano and swap the tires out for Schwalbe Rocket ron rear and Nobby Nics front. Oh, I'd also add a Fox transfer dropper and get the integrated twinloc with dropper remote. If Scott comes out with the Genius using "Bolds" integrated shock I may have to upgrade.
I think they have plans to incorporate that tech through out the whole line
@@GCPerformance18 agreed~ 🙌🏻
Sorry GC but I like the MTB more than road bikes. I love this bike. Thanks for the video. Cheers from Greece...
This bike is so nice!!!
@@GCPerformance18 i love MTB but my daily ride it's a Scott Speedster... Have a nice day and kisses from Greece...
Hi. Is the weight measurements are with tubeless setup ? Scott website is showing 11.55 with tubeless (suppose S or M Size)
this weight was measure without tubeless
Do you have any of these in size small?
I do not right now, no smalls
Can you get these bikes do you have any in stock? Thanks!
I might be able too, what bike are you looking for and what size?
hi,do you get get a spare battery for the axs?
they sell them online
Ive always loved the look of the frame and the paintjob and also cause its done so well in competition, But finding one of these just seems imposible, no?
Yes they are really hard to find we got 2 in stock and then 1 sold already and that’s it
Yeah nice!
Start a conversation with your LBS. Tell them you are serious about buying. Stop just short of pestering them every few weeks. May take a couple months, but they’ll likely find you one.
No dropper post. Also having internal rear shock make installing aftermarket one difficult
yea it is a pain in the ass but not impossible
Really nice bike, but does not seem to have much rear tyre clearance for mud.
it has enough, there wont be an issue
I'm pretty sure, twinloc is 120mm, 80mm and then locked out it.
I just read what is off of there website. But you could be right
Ok why does my phones UI switch to sepia tone when I watch your videos? It's really disconcerting, especially if I'm watching in a mini window while I'm doing other things.
I do not knwo I am sorry
Question: which bike would you choose between a Spark (not the RC) and an Epic Evo with the same components on both bikes. And MONEY IS NO OBJECT!
honestly, right now I would go epic evo...... just because I am not a fan of the twin lock myself and because this is the first year of this new shock....... if it was out for a year or so and had some ride time to see how it handled I would feel more comfortable about it
What do you think about the new Rockshox Flight Attendant stuff?
I havnt seen it in person but I mean it is cool. Just very expensive
The bike company that Scott purchased is Bold...beautiful RC
yes this is true
Been looking for this exact axs model since last month sadly all are out of stock, i even tried looking overseas but only super small and big sizes are available
I have this in a large
@@GCPerformance18 can this be alright for a 5’7 like me? Thanks and also do you ship to Philippines just in case, planning to sell my supercal for this badboy
Great bike for the price!
Yes
love the design!
yea this design is first of its kind hopefuly it gets better as time goes on
4:21 endcap? It doesn’t look the your mechanic is finished assembling the bike.
He’s getting fired tomorrow. Thanks for pointing that out!!!
Squeeze test. Lol. Watching you struggle to remove the service plug was great.
Hahah thank you
Unrelated question. Can I use the sram flattop chain on my 105 groupset? I really really really like the flattop look
No you can not. The cogs are wider on the 105
@@GCPerformance18 :( And Shimano doesn't have such a chain?
@@bazadam6635 nO
10:45 so a few years after purchase if your rear shock goes you might not be able to do anything
0:27
Gold
Hahahahhahaha
Too many proprietary parts on these newer bikes. That integrated shock is going to be impossible to find in 5 years time. I sold my Specialized Roubaix 2016 which has a Future Shock 1.0 thats no longer produced by Specialized.
yea I mean already scott has issues with there shocks, I have had to work on older scott sparks with the nude shocks and they are impossible to find after a cetain amount of years because they only work with the twin lock system so they cant be replaced
@@GCPerformance18 thanks for bringing this up. You're the only guy on youtube who mentioned this proprietary new shock. I was about to buy this spark until I ran into your review....I'm not sure if thats a good thing 😂
Is it only me who just cant get the rear tool to connect with the front wheel so u cant change it without extra tool?
its not the same hole
@@GCPerformance18 So if ur front wheel breaks u need to have extra tool with u?
Thats annoying.
Im disappointed that you didn't squeeze test it.
Lol
💯👍
thank you for watching
What, no squeeze test?! LOL.. (Please don't start doing that)
I won’t lol
"Idiot" lol
hahahha
