Thank you very much, We do have EPIQ CVx and I tried to use the autostrain, but firstly it does not give strain rate curves and numbers and secondly I could not use the short axis views to have circumferential, radial and rotational strain. Could you help please!

How do I turn the auto measure option on? I don’t see the option to use it in parasternal 2d measurements. I see in your video, it’s on the bottom right side of the screen.

I can't tell if the EDV from 3D Heart Model is 176ml or 136ml. I know this is compareable to Cardiac MRI yet there is not an approved Diastolic Volume Index chart sonographers can use based on these 3D measurements. The current EDV Index chart is based on Simpsons Biplane method of discs. When using 3d HM and taking the EDV and ESV to figure Volume Index from the old chart it can be innacurate and overestimate the volume in some cases therefore not giving doctors 100% confidence. My advice as a sonographer is invest in the technology but also invest in the research to get charts approved to go along with your new tech. It's awesome to have new features but if there are no guidlines or parameters for these features it sets it back.

@@PhilipsHC Thank you for your comment! Our lab uses your technology everyday for patient cases both TTE and TEE. We use 3D technology often. Phillips is top notch and from my experience is the leader in 3D ultrasound. Regarding my comment, even though the 3D EDV may represent large, that doesn't mean it is wrong. At some point hopefully there will be revision to the Volume Index chart to accomadate 3D volumes. Thank you for your constant innovation.
