My fav Voodoo doll: I have no idea how she didn't win nationals for that year to be honest. It was sharp, clean technically great and those turns were stunning. She took her time and I think being at nationals really pushed her to the next level and it made her dance incredibly! Not just another face- I think having a "Maddie solo" really made her rise to the occasion. She was cleaner than usual and her feet were pointed and she looked so sweet! Living in the blues- I loved that jazzy feature she added to it. She was clean and executed movement brilliantl. Truly a memorable solo. Just an illusion- again, super jazzy and entertaining. It really made me feel so happy!! Just rain- it won a technique award for a reason. She performed well and stunningly , she proved she can execute lyrical well! Look at me now- sassy,energetic and sweet! Technically great and was very entertaining. Fool me twice- again, having a "Maddie solo" really pushed her. Not her best but I enjoyed it a lot! DOA (first time and second time) I know that kendall seemed bratty and rude on the show (which she kind of was) but something that a lot of ppl don’t realize that is that her dancing isn’t horrible. Abby always said how she wants kendall to use her face, but never assigns her solos that gets to show Kendall’s facial expressions. For example, she would stay this stuff but give her a cheesy jazz solo. But when she assigns her contemporary and/or lyrical solos, that’s when she shines on stage.
I don’t get why kendall always got jazz solos, she never had the energy for that and she looked sloppy. Personally I think she looked the best in contemporary even tho her technique wasn’t the best

I don't know what's in D.O.A. that makes you like this soil so much! I respect your taste and admit that the choreography is good and the facial expressions too, but zero technique on both solos!
Don’t get me wrong Kendall was an amazing dancer, but she lacked energy and facial sometimes. There were many instances where it just looked like sloppy the sequel and some which were amazing, the thing is she stresses upon her dances which makes her facials like that, she is not free and loosened up while dancing, but she had great fluidity in dances like NJAPF, and Voodoo Doll.
