Both Abby and some of the girls have said that while many competitions in later seasons were fake, the ones in earlier seasons weren't. Kalani said that competitions sometimes mean dancing at 8am and again at 11:30pm - which is illegal for the dance moms girls because of child labour laws. So they started using fake/smaller competitions so the girls weren't there all day. But I don't know about scores. Wouldn't it be illegal for them to change their official results? I get changing it for the show, but official results almost always match up (though that's not saying that they didn't manipulate them)
Ruth Ames I know that's not what this video is about. It is about Maddie tho - and I feel bad that people overlook her talent because some of the scores are fake. I also know Sia didn't choose her because she won fake competitions, she chose her because she's a really talented dancer. I mean, yes, Abby did exaggerate how talented Maddie really was, but that doesn't mean that she's just an average dancer.
After season 4 the competitions were no longer real. The producers actually got to select who won and who didn't. I was the announcer at one of the competitions and we were told ahead of time who the winners were before the other studios even got an opportunity to dance. They chose where the students from Abby Lee would place and then basically just filled in the gaps with the other contestants.
Holly &Yazmin learning more than one dance for over 60 weeks is a lot considering studios outside of DM only teach 1 or two solos per year with one or two group dances for competitions....
Holly &Yazmin the show wasn't actually every week there's proof of that plus it was only for 6 years I'm a dancer and I learned three solos per year sooo...
Mónica Rodríguez damn 3 solos per year wowzers at my studio they give us 6 solos per year but they give me more then that at least 15. (They give me more cause I'm one of the best dance at my studio )

Ok, hi. I know on dance moms it may seem bad if the dancer doesn't place and yes i know they're elite dancers but heres the thing, if you get second or third or even in the top ten, thats amazing. I once has 63 girls in my category for solos and my best friend got 10th. its not that bad if u get third or second or fifth or tenth. so that was still got that maddie got 4th an 3rd and 2nd, yes everyone wants first but placing in the overall's in general is good

i loved you go-go girl 🥺 or any tap routine! they’re super underrated and idk what the judges are thinking always placing them lower then all the other genres.
Most judging panel members don't know how to score tap. They might have one specialist judge on the panel but the rest won't have taken tap for years. Because it's mainly smaller movements in comparison with say lyrical and slight variations in sound you need to know what you're looking for to judge it technically. The rest of the judges will just guess the technical and difficulty score and place more emphasis on the artistic side. I note the tap solo she won had tumbling and a lot of crowdpleasing stuff, which the other judges would relate to more
Ugh it's so frustrating how Hellen Keller, Bond girl and Disappear didn't win. Also I feel like Maestro Man should've gotten more credit and she was done dirty, because she got injured in the middle of the routine and kept going .
Allison Nowak her technique (or rather lack of): she sickles her feet, fails to engage her turnout, has a major lack of control, a weak relevé, an open rib cage, an a tendency to not fully straighten her legs.

Tap is actually really difficult. I was a dancer for a while and it was one of the hardest dance styles. (Ballet was definitely harder though)

I actually do ballet . If you practice It Is very Easy! And i also done solos from ballet and i won with most of them!
Her solo “lights camera action” had the same music as kalani’s solo in Audc

I don’t understand how everyone can dislike “The entertainer”. I think it is one of maddie’s best solos, and it is so technical and her facials were amazing.

Ok, hi. I know on dance moms it may seem bad if the dancer doesn't place and yes i know they're elite dancers but heres the thing, if you get second or third or even in the top ten, thats amazing. I once has 63 girls in my category for solos and my best friend got 10th. its not that bad if u get third or second or fifth or tenth. so that was still got that maddie got 4th an 3rd and 2nd, yes everyone wants first but placing in the overall's in general is good

Most judging panel members don't know how to score tap. They might have one specialist judge on the panel but the rest won't have taken tap for years. Because it's mainly smaller movements in comparison with say lyrical and slight variations in sound you need to know what you're looking for to judge it technically. The rest of the judges will just guess the technical and difficulty score and place more emphasis on the artistic side. I note the tap solo she won had tumbling and a lot of crowdpleasing stuff, which the other judges would relate to more
Ugh it's so frustrating how Hellen Keller, Bond girl and Disappear didn't win. Also I feel like Maestro Man should've gotten more credit and she was done dirty, because she got injured in the middle of the routine and kept going .
this rlly shows that all the girls are even and maddie is not much much much better than them their all humans and know one is perfect
