What a comfy and cozy vlog is this. I agree with you that everyone should have a save space to feel good. In this crazy world I think it’s very important to feel happy and comfortable in your home. Thanks for sharing. ❤❤❤❤❤

Thanks so much for watching, and I’m so happy you enjoyed it 🥰🙏 You’re absolutely right; the world can be pretty chaotic (to put it mildly lol), which makes it even more important to create your own little world, or safe space, where you can always find your inner peace 🙏 I hope you’re having a lovely day~!! 🤎🤍

Great video! Love the idea to have a safe space in your life to go to when you need it! I think my safe space is when I meditate in my bedroom at night before sleeping. The silence and peacefull surroundings of my bedroom when meditating can really give me a safe feeling all around and that can last for an hour or so. Thanks for your videos; allways makes my day happier! ❤

I’m happy you have a safe place for yourself like that! 🥰 And thank you so much for your kind words, I am really glad you’re enjoying the channel 🥹

This is very Heartwarming and very wonderful and very beautiful and very adorable and this brings back great memories of when I use to be a 90s kid and an early 2000s kid and I am a new subscriber as well:).

    Hello! Lynn_san!
I finally caught up with your latest Vlog! I really love your Vlogs, where you can feel the four season🍂
It's so cold where you live that you need a warm scarf.... In Japan, the maximum temperature was 29 degrees today, and there's no sign of summer ending. However, at night, the bell crickets are singing, so we can hear the footsteps of autumn. But it's really hot...!
The ladybug that appeared in your Vlog reminded me of something. When I was still 4 years old, I went to the park in kindergarten and a ladybug landed on my palm. I was still a little child and just watched it, and she started laying eggs on my palm! I was surprised and scared, so I went to the teacher crying. Unfortunately, I don't remember what happened after that. However, now that I'm an adult, I think that the palm of my hand was a very cozy place for her🐞
Reality is quite confusing, but just watching your Vlog and making my room comfortable helps me calm down. Even if the weather or situation changes, I definitely don't want this cozy place to change, and I don't want it to change at all.
Please take care of your health, Lynn_san🍁

      Hi there~!! 🥰🐻🤎
Oh wow, thank you so much for watching my vlogs!! It really means a lot and I’m glad you enjoyed seeing the changing of the seasons 🙏✨
Whoa, 29°C in October?? That sure is intense; poor you 😭 I hope autumn will arrive in Japan soon! Actually, it has become a bit warmer here as well. Yesterday it was 22°C! Still, it’s definitely not summer anymore, so I still needed to wear a hoodie and I brought a scarf along just in case because the wind can be quite chilly 😅 I really hope it’ll cool down where you are soon!
Thank you for sharing your ladybug story; the fact that the little bug felt safe enough on your hand to lay eggs is actually really amazing 😍🐞 I get your reaction to it as a child though, I was also often shocked and scared by animals doing things I didn’t expect them to 🙈 They say it’s a good sign and even a blessing when a ladybug comes to sit on you, so I hope you’re still enjoying a bit of luck from that experience 🥰
I’m glad you have turned your room into your own safe space as well 🙏🤎 It’s good to have a place where you can catch your breath and sort things out in peace, so that you can take on real life feeling stronger and more confident again 💪
Thank you so much for your lovely comment, and also take good care of your health as well 🥰🤎🍁 I hope you’re having a wonderful week~!! ☺️✨

Hey Cozy Lynn! Seems like the autumn vibes are finally here! 🍁.
I wish I had seen this vlog earlier, I've been drowning in exams, group projects and deadlines and I haven’t had much time to myself. I haven't even check out the new Tomb Raider show and I'm a massive fan! So I will definitely be following your advice and pull back into my safe space.
On the bright side, I did have time to check out Days at the Morisaki Bookshop after I picked it up on sale on Prime Day and I'm liking it so far! I really loved the writing style, it's so easy to read and it goes so fast. Maybe I'll finish it on time for the next vlog! Anyway, take care and take care of Natsuki! 🧸
PS: Look at how many views you're getting! The Hermit's Hive grows bigger every day!
PS2 (heh) : 15:17 GAH! I wasn't expecting that zoom in on the spider 😖 I guess that was a preview for the Halloween vlog 😅.

Hi Uriel~!! Yes, they sure are! Autumn has truly arrived 🙏🍁
It sounds like school is definitely keeping you busy! Hang in there, and I hope you’ll find more time to relax soon and make time for the things you enjoy 🥰
Yay, I’m glad you’re also enjoying Days at the Morisaki Bookshop! I totally get what you mean; somehow the writing style is so easy to read, that the words just pull you through the pages and before you know it you’ve already read 50 of them 🤭📚
Take care as well!! And Natsuki wishes you lots of lazy cozy time when you can, since she’s an expert after all 🐈🤎
PS. I know right?? I’m absolutely flabbergasted, hehe, it’s going well at the moment! 🤭😍🙏
PS2 (lol). Hahaha, sorry to give you a fright there 🤣 I’m not a fan of spiders myself either, but they sure do look autumnal, so… anything for the vlog 😂 And the Halloween vlog is coming, yes yes! Prepare yourself for spooky moments 👻🤍

I'm trying to create a "safe" system where I can enjoy life rather than relying on a safe space to boost my mood temporarly. I found that videogames were my safe space before that made me kind of dissociate with the struggles of work and other problems, so in the end the safe space wasn't helping me at all. Now I don't know how to engage with videogames without the intent of forgetting life, if that makes sense. It's not easy to find the balance, especially when life circumstances are objectivally hard to go through without any personal haven
I also felt the nostalgia of summer when it was easier to go out whenever I wanted and not plan it depending on the weather or the hour. It's a nice change when you accept it!
It's off-topic, but I remember that you talked about writting a book and having written some before (if I'm not mistaken). I was wondering if you were published or if you just wrote recreationally. Thank you in advance and thank you for your videos :)

I like the idea of a “safe system” rather than a safe place! I think what you need and what works for you depends on how you perceive life at the moment, and since life is always changing, our coping mechanisms do too 🤎 I understand it must be tough to find a balance if your relationship with video games has become a bit messy; I hope you’ll get to enjoy them someday again, without feeling like you’re losing yourself too much in them, and I hope life will treat you a little bit kinder each and every day 🙏🥰 It’s tough sometimes 🥲 But things always get better again in the end, I’ve learned 🤍
Yeah, during the summer it’s so much easier to just pop out whenever you feel like it! I’m still trying to go out regularly now though, because autumn really is an excellent season for walks 😍🍁
Oh, thanks for your question! I have indeed written quite some books to be honest, and several of them are published, in Dutch as well as in English. I was still trying to decide whether to talk about all that on the channel because I’ve stopped writing and publishing a couple of years ago, because life happened, I changed as a person, and I kind of got tired of the genre I had been writing in, which was paranormal romance. These days I’d rather write something more lighthearted, but I just really need to find some time and the peace of mind to get to work on a new book again 🙈 I’d really love to soon though 🤎 My pen name is Lynn Robin, but I think that whenever I write a new book, I’d probably use another name. I think. I don’t know. I’m at a loss haha 🙈😅
Anyways, sorry for the long-winded reply, but thank you so much for watching my videos, it truly means a lot 🥹🙏🤎

@@TheCozyHermit Don't worry I really appreciate the effort you put into your message :) Your first paragraph is absolutely right. And about the books you wrote and published it's so cool! I asked this question because recently I've been toying with the idea of writing a non-fiction book. It would be a great creative outlet but ultimately the aim would be to get it published to gain something out of it (although I don't have any degree in the field so that may be impossible 🥴). Fully commiting to the idea without knowing where it may lead is a bit daunting. Especially when writing (or any "content" that we create) takes a lot of our mental energy
