this is such a powerful video of what happened to our town. It is compelling and so soon after the flood. At first I didn't realize he had a kayak. He was right when he said he feared loss of life.
Thanks so much for putting this out there......we were out of town when this horrible tragedy took place and we have a lot to loose down there, so it means so much to see people, for the most part, caring for other people.
Water will create its own pathways; even if there are what look like substantial structures in the way. Often those structures are nowhere near as strong as we think they are.
So true 👌🏽 when I was little I thought that these buildings where invisible . When hurricane sandy hit I was wrong everything was destroyed everything that I remember gone in just a matter of weeks. So many people passed away. Days of darkness and fear. It's scary stress flooded my street especially. I was terrified.. My dog whining it made me do fricken sad. So that's when i figured out buildings aren't invincible.
god almighty... I was just down there on a date at cocoa Lane... This was my place to hang out all the time... and now in one night its ruined.. cant believe it
All those college educated people who ran the county had no understanding that suburban sprawl will cause massive water run off. They were blinded by the incoming $$ and the nearly free infrastructure they could glean from existing nearby jurisdictions.
This would have been a good documentation of this event if not for the language. To greet people on the street using that language is so disrespectful in any situation.
Guys he's just trying to help. In an emergency situation do you really think he's worried about politeness? You guys clearly haven't been in that situation. He was concerned and passionate about those people and if you saw the other videos you would see how real the danger was.
Why bother putting it up if it is not any good...the whole idea for any video is to be able to watch it ... (don't care if it is a camera or a go pro or what ever) ... if the video is flying all over the place to the point where you can't see shit then don't bother putting it up at all...I have been there in the past many years ago and liked the area...so I was interested (as many of my friends here were also) ...we were trying to watch this damn thing and it was useless...it just so happened we came upon this one early...saw all of the others a little later and they were a hundred times better...everyone here had the same feeling as I did about this one...if you can't take the criticism than don't bother putting it up in the first place...
WAIT A MINUTE: DID HE JUST SAID AT THE END ???? "I feel really scared, I'm scared about the people that god killed". WTF flood is an act of nature, rather influenced by man than by a fictional character. VOTE ME UP (please)
Nice work looking out for people in need. Thank you for sharing this disaster. We are all vulnerable.
Everytime you say oh my god I take a shot. I'm kinda drunk now.
I'm amazed that the streetlights stayed on.

I bet that dude was catching a lot of water pokemon that day.
Holy sheet...freaking place is devastated.
I'd be cussing too if I found myself in the middle of something like this.
OMG
I would have to restrain myself from cussing so much especially on recording, maybe
+Zapcode Knock or not. Why censor your self. For fucks sake.
4:43 I'm assuming that guy really looted liquor? What the fuck?
I know right it literally fell into a sinkhole in the sidewalk trying steel bottles of booze and still held on to all of them crazy
he had to catch them all.,

Dios!!!! Que fuerza de la naturaleza, cuanto año deja a su paso!

That Pokémon dude was the guy who helped get that woman who didn't want to loose her cigs out of the car. AKA hot tank top guy.

Felicidades por ayudar a la gente .octavio Ponce ex jefe de Bomberos
Looting booze. real class.
Yeah I noticed it too haha
This first person curses alot..
So?......
cursing is often a sign of feeling defeated o even depression. . .think they held up a brave fight myself.
Thats a good point, I think so too
That dude has a bad mouth.
Brian Cuddy fuck yeah he does

...a little too passionate. that was the point. it was like he got beamed up with power
sure would 've fun going through there in a lifted truck
"OH MY GOD"
Take a shot.
A black person died that day. It was trying to get to safety. I think it was only 30
What is the matter with these people...is anyone capable of holding the damn camera still for more than 2 seconds...?
its a gopro you fucking idiot
Well then don't fuckin use it you idiot...it is fucking useless flying all over the place every 2 seconds...
+mr4bbl Because the first thing you should worry about is getting a good video during a flood
