Hi Christina. I first saw you at the TH-cam channel 'World Frieds' about 2 months ago. I enjoyed all of your videos and I was so interested in you. So, thank you for your answering these questions! You ever plan to travel to another country or you are settling in Korea? I mean, one can plan alot, like myself, but life is so uncertain, we can plan this way but then something shows up or happens and throws you off and before you know it you are changing your plans or adapting in accordance to whichever your direction was or still is. Like do you have a goal you are working towards or do you just go with the flow and see how it goes? Any little plans or one big major plan, and goal?
I have thought about living in another country, especially would love to live in Taipei, Taiwan for a little while. But it took years to build the connections I have in Korea, so going to another country may be a little difficult work-wise. Hi Christina. This was a very nice video. I'm honestly surprised that you are so much into different harder EDM styles since you are an Americaine and these are more or less European genres or genres popular in Europe when America prefers country, rap, rock, pop etc. I myself have always been into certain styles of EDM, it's the biggest of my three musical genre pillars (next to "Pop" and German hip hop). It started at the end of the 90s with Sash!, Faithless, Alice Deejay, Eiffel 65, Gigi D'Agostino, grew into Sylver, Lasgo, Special D, Brooklyn Bounce more "hands up / commercial dance music" stuff and then from the mid 00s on I started listening to Trance music (TATW, ASOT, GDJB). Not sure if you're into the same kind of trance as me, but I'm happy to hear that you like some trance. 😺 The other thing is that I recently visited Irland and also heard a bit about the tragic history of that country. At least Irland is now independent since almost exactly 100 years. If I remember correctly there are 4 million Irish people and 2 more in Northern Irland and about 70 million people with irish roots do live in many countries in the world. That's so cool! We really liked Irland and the (few) people we met were really friendly and open. And since it's a small country with a small population that has been through so much pain, I found alot of respect and love for Irland. 💗😊
I would say these genres are starting to get more popular in the states now, but 10 years ago the community was very very small! The DJs you mentioned are classics! Gigi D'Agostino will always be one of my favorites~ I have never been to Ireland, but I have made a few Irish friends here in Korea and agree that they are very fun and friendly people! Thanks so much for watching!
As a Californian with matrilineal Boston Irish roots, I guess there are more similarities than I realized! I was surprised to learn you were involved with Japanese as well (which is my second language, though I can see how Korean seems appealing too. After all, they're both purportedly Altaic languages [even if that perspective is a bit controversial in large part due to history and politics. Linguistically the hiragana, katakana and hangul orthographic syllabaries are extremely similar phonetically, though Hangul was invented more recently]). I will say, that if you do come back stateside, as much as California has going for it, there are a lot of downsides too. The 22 year drought that the Western USA is struggling with seems pretty dire unless we get lots of repeated rains and snowfall to restore aquifers and rivers and reservoirs (there was a John Oliver Last Week Tonight episode on such themes recently which was comedically informative on such troubling concerns). At least personally, having attended a concert in Portland in April of this year, I'm strongly considering moving northward. Sure the winters are a little colder, but the water isn't an issue and Portland purportedly has more vegan restaurants per Capita than any other city in the USA! Not to mention it felt a lot greener and I'm awfully weary of urban density from myopic urban planning as found all over California's myriad suburban sprawls. However, the Japanese American population is larger in California than in any other state. Admittedly I think per Capita there is probably a denser population of Japanese Americans in Hawaii? That's maybe less of a concern for you, but personally I have no plans to move to Brazil (which has the highest concentration of individuals of Japanese ancestry outside of Japan). Maybe I could move to Japan someday rather than merely visit as I have in the past, but again I'd probably prefer somewhere more rural, and maybe a bit further north such as Hokkaido as heat and humidity as are common in Japan's summers are likely to wipe me out with my frail prone to sunburning constitution. I will say, though my travels have been somewhat limited, Berlin was pretty awesome and has an excellent nightlife and a lot of great electronic music, though west coast bass seems to hit a bit harder? The Netherlands was also wonderful to visit and I really enjoyed Taiwan too. Hong Kong and China and England all felt way too polluted for my liking and maybe it's the Irish in me, but anything with ties to England (even historically since here in the USA we're still stuck cleaning up so much of their disastrous imperial legacy) tends to rub me the wrong way (though the parts of Canada I've visited have been wonderful as well as most of the Canadians, I can't help but wonder if they wouldn't be better off abandoning the Commonwealth and the same is probably true of places such as Australia and New Zealand). Anyway, thanks for answering so many questions! It almost seems preposterous to me that your height when younger made you worry that no one would want to date you. Yet as you alluded to with your long lasting relationship with someone who is social media averse, you clearly are a catch and I get the impression some lucky someone feels the same and won't be letting you get away any time soon!
Thanks for such a detailed comment! I have heard about the drought situation in Cali, which is unfortunate. Housing prices has sky rocketed as well so where I move would really have to come down to what job I'm able to land I think! Interesting you talked about the Netherlands, because it's also been high on my bucket list. I heard the people are very nice there and my dream festival, Defqon.1 is located there too. Thanks so much for watching, as always!
@@ChristinaDonnelly When going to the Netherlands, do visit other places besides Amsterdam. Most tourists only go there. There are so many nice cities to go to, and because the country is small everything is reachable by train in no time at all. Cities like: Alkmaar Delft Leiden Gouda Utrecht Den Haag Dordrecht. Are all very nice and reasonably close to A'dam. For a different feel both Breda and s'Hertogenbosch (Den Bosch) are really nice too. They have more of a late medieval/early modern feel. In Den Bosch try Bosche bol. If you like themeparks, defitnitly go to the Efteling. It won prizes for best themepark in the world a couple of times. Festivals are always good. You can get everywhere with English. Even most bookstores have a large English collection. When/if you go, hope you will have a nice stay.

Japanese and Korean are not Altaic. That theory is debunked already. Japanese is an isolated language with a lot of Chinese influences.
Cities like:
Alkmaar
Delft
Leiden
Gouda
Utrecht
Den Haag
Dordrecht.
You are soooo beautiful 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😭😭😭😍😍😍🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
