I love both of you! I’ve nursed at the critical care, and labour/delivery level, and as a 73 year old RN, I can tell you I’ve been there. Everything you speak of rings true and familiar. We are never alone in this. ❤️🙋🏻♀️
You guys r AWESOME!!!!! I love u both!!! Thank you for supporting us nurses!! You guys r right on the money!!! The management, quality of care, n the morale in the hospital has declined since i have started working as a nurse’s aide in 1999. I have evolved into a confident, hard working RN- who loves my job, my patients, and my coworkers until healthcare has morphed into a “greedy business” in which managers or NON-health care workers took over, converting healthcare into a for profit entity instead of for human beings- whether u r a patient or a caretaker, the interest mainly boils down to profit n power!!! This is disgustingly SAD!!! Please keep educating the world how important it is to be KIND, HONEST, and CARING because the employees of the healthcare environment has lost these vital qualities and it makes us look bad!!!! I fear of getting older n becoming sick!!! Again. I appreciate u both for standing up n telling the truth!!! 🥰😘🙏
16:37 I honestly feel the same way. It's good to know that I'm not alone in feeling weird about watching or hearing myself in videos. That's why I'm having such a hard time really getting into it. I'll keep this in the back of my mind and just try to go for it next time.
You guys hit the nail on the head! I only wish upper management agreed! The only reason I'm still working as a therapist in a SNF after surviving COVID and all the aftermath/confusion/frustration/insanity of it all is my coworkers. The burnout is SO real but every day I try to find a reason to stay... Love you both and thanks for keeping it real!
Thank you for bringing up burnout and providing quality care. Unfortunately it feels like the people who run the hospital only care about money and don’t care about the effect that it has on their staff and patients. This affects our local communities too and isn’t fair to them that they end up suffering right along with healthcare workers.
Real reason for travel nurses are cheaper for hospital to hire than a staff nurse. Staff you have to train, travel just through them in and all good. Another huge reason the hospital does not have to pay for insurance on travel nurses.
Im only a CNA and one of our nursing managers literally told me the other day “oh you dont need a day off” exfuckingscuse me i dont need a day off? How about fuck you not to mention i was already working a 10 hour shift that day so yes were hella burnt out
36:00 Damn they jealous nurse John 😒 but what u said is right - u can’t control how they feel and u are not there to please them. 53:00 nurse John sounds like mother and the other guy sounds strict like father . I agree with nurse John and not so much with the other guy 🙄
Tried to leave a comment but couldn’t? Think someone thought it was bs 😢 I was requesting that doctors, nurses and techs be familiar with CVID and the impact it has. Patients with it are often frequently in the ER and are very often misunderstood. Have you ever heard of this disease???
I left to go travel because of the way a coworker treated me and also because the doctors were whinny babies who never had our backs. I make more money traveling and I was invested in the places I traveled to. Plus, while I traveled, I met wonderful coworkers and nurses and Dr’s who were willing to talk on our level and great human beings. Now I quit traveling for several reasons and make less money but working with great people and Doctors. I have a chance to learn and grow here. Balance!
I enjoy the videos. I’m not a nurse but work in a medical center. I appreciate all the efforts nurses do. However, never in my life have I witness how much gossip, bullying and complaining goes around in the medical world. I hope medical centers train ppl how to treat each other with respect. Is okay to play but does need to be for bullying or gossip.
I'm an RN in CA... wtf... there are no 3/1 ratios. Unless in ICU. The rest is 5/1. Yeah our hourly wage is higher, but look at the cost of living in CA!! Just stop.
I nurse I work with lived and worked in Cali for around 5 years and his ratios were 4/1 and he spoke very highly of the hospital and having break nurse ect. He only moved to NY for his wife to be around family. But he has been here a few years now so maybe with covid things are worse now in more areas there. Makes sense. ok got worse and already shitty got shittier these past few years.

So many nurses (healthcare workers-Dr. included) are burnt out and it shows. Burnt out and retired to early but so glad to be out.

No, no I don't like cursing....seriously. I do really like your skits. My favorite ones are the skits of nurse/patient interactions 😂

Is it as bad as DC?

UC Santa Cruz "Party College"
Like paying agency caregivers 25 and in house 15 (in memory care). Wtf
Mann is miss my old manager
Myb they should just have 1 extra staff just in case 1 person doesn’t show up or there’s suddey a surge of admissions but noooo
Or to help cover breaks rather than making each nurse double their ratio for 45 minutes while their partner is on break.
I like Asian guys❤ I am an engineer then I do not have any chance.
Stanley cup for me
Love you watching you John, little disappointed at this. Steven Ho is blocked everywhere on my accounts. He is a very rude individual!
Like he blocked you, or you blocked him???
Oh bestie, no. Not, Steveioe. I really hope this is a one time thing. He is problematic to put it politely
How so??
How???☕️☕️☕️☕️
Did I miss something? How?
Just commenting to get the answer.
Lolol not all is if confused- same!
