I love love love this....these two can say more in a look than some of the entertainers today can in a whole reality show...and these guys have changed the face of the entertainment world....paved the way for others but Liberace was truly one of a kind...as was Sammy Davis Jr....may they both be resting in the peace that only God can give...love them!!!

It's amazing how we forget about all the wonderful cleancut shows we all enjoyed in our formative years such as Hollywood Palace, ABC'S The Movie of The Week, The Fugitive to name a few. Thank God for TH-cam.
We always watched Ed Sullivan Show and Hollywood Palace because of the great variety of all sorts of artistry, Broadway performances, Stand- up Comedians, Magicians, Circus acts ,the Beatles, you name it, the Show had it.
At 4:25 the courage begins. They shoved the prejudices of a nation up the nose and out the ears with joy and gentleness. Amazing men. Thanks for putting this clip up.

I didn't know Liberace danced. Loved the dance off! Have to tell this. Years ago, I worked in downtown Dallas. As I waited for the bus, there was someone strutting, or sashaying down the street. His coat drapping off his shoulders, and a guy carrying a stack of boxes beside him. Just like in the movies!! You guessed it, Liberace! As he came closer, I was repeating to myself, "don't trip him, don't trip him,,,"!!! 😆 LOL
I always LOVED this show! What memories these bring back :) It's neat, too, how they've kept the original commercials. REAL memories there as well.. even when the ads are for constipation aids! Haha! Thanks for sharing!
Sammy Davis Jr. is another of the era's performing geniuses and treasures that we can all be grateful to TH-cam for. And could he sing, dance, act and impersonate. He was the rat packs most lovable rat. Mis ya Sammy. Thanks for the memories.
Liberace was 67 when he died. Boy Sammy sure was short, Liberace was only 5 foot 10. I was 12 when this aired but I don't remember it. Boy Liberace even dances gay.
