San Pedro is a sexy little pueblo of Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. It is the most popular spot for backpackers, for good reason. Even though it has a laid back vibe, it has plenty of activities, from kayaking, and paragliding, to language learning, chocolate tasting, yoga, textile, and classes for everything. It's also has many nice cafes, good food and active nightlife.
On the negative side if you try to hike the Indian Nose without a guide you might be robbed by the local banditos and the police will do nothing to help you. Hopefully they get some special forces up in those hills. It wouldn't take much to camp out a few mercenaries and have them bust the robbers.
Today I explored, hiked shopped, and toured all around San Pedro La Laguna. I saw how the local textiles are produced, tried making my own chocolate, visited a local art gallery, and hiked a local lookout point.

Good job! If you’re still there, think about going to the medicinal herb place in San Juan. It’s a cooperative of Mayan healers and they have teas and potions that would help with your digestive issues. 😁

The migget is called sombreron. It is a demond that sings to beaitiful young ladies to posses their soul. That is the myth. That whole mural tells about the paranormal. The black dog is called characotel it has red eyes and attacks the alcoholics to take their souls to tj afterlife. The mayan godess is La Llorona. She cries for her sons who she cries for. She is condemed to wander around at night as penance for her sin
