bro im 2300 nd played for 5 years. i never actually understood how to improve by watching replays but this finally helped me 💀 i thought i was jus blind
Dude ty for this vid, was very useful. I am too a blasters player around the same elo range and I pretty much have all those problems u listed when I think abt it (thinking dair is my only option to punish, whiffing slight due to poor spacing and using less nlights). So yea spot on.
My issue with spacing is getting myself in the right spot to punish misses effectively. Sometimes, I try to bait out the attack and position myself to punish it but they just end up dashing in and hitting me. Like the fake isn't effective enough, so you try to make it more convincing, and they consistently just land the hit as a result. The answer is clearly to just attack them instead of using baits they aren't falling for, but then it just turns into a slug fest. I guess I have to condition them to believe I will actually go for the attack and then throw out a bait to punish.
have you heard of empty hops? i feel like i've had your problem before, it is way easier to bait people out with movement than attacks. so stuf like dashing to trick them into thinking you're in one spot then dashing and punishing, or dash jumping towards them and then dodging backwards to get a reaction out of them, a lot of those types of little things can be improved upon and seriously improve your gameplay, also never put yourself into a position where you could get hit, that's another big thing and if you are in a position where you can get hit, you either hit them first or get outta there yk
Hey bro, can you make a high elo guide. How to break past low diamond. I'm just getting to diamond now and have reached 2176 today, your guides have helped alot. Just wondering what you recommend to get better at this stage.
Yo stingray can u make a Xull guide, punishing tips and movement....not really sig use because xull sigs are so basic that its easy to know when to use for zoning, pressure, or just a read
it's just recognizing if do situations in replays ex. (if ... happens do, if ... doesn't happen do) if *opponent approaches with nlight* wait for nlight
Can you tell us a bit about dash cancels, ledge cancels plus edge guarding and resource management aka movement tips...🧐🤔 Great vids keep it up bro ✌️🍀🍀🍻
yo btw stingray i beat every valhallan and diamnond that i met today and and i was plat u are turning someone with 600 hours into a valhallan if i could i would have joined the channel but my family would destroy me lol the least i can do i a like and a subscribtion
In the how to reach diamond video you kept on saying play passive but what do you have to do if you need to go offensive or the other person is playing passive aswell.
Man I am way to lazy to watch my reply's, I have beaten pro's and just thought, "I went crazy" or "I tryharded" But I wasn't sweating so I didn't really think much of it. I guess pro's aren't perfect but Sting Ray gonna make me watch all my reply's now, thanks!
i been following your advice on analyzing replays. i have like 250 hours in the game i dont expect to be pro level or anything but im pretty bad, not gonna lie. i feel like one of my big issues is im just playing off intuition. i know all attacks, the direction of hitboxes, etc. but i cannot make conscious decisions, which option i truly have and make sense. you mentioned that Diana fighting randomly i feel like i make the same mistakes, just randomly throwing out attacks... do you have any tip on how to work on that? or is that just gameplay experience and playing more, so that the game "slows down" for me. Sorry if its rude to ask that, not trying to get free coaching. maybe you can throw me a little hint or nugget of wisdom on how to be more disciplined with my attacks. if i make an effort to not throw out attacks randomly im just moving around not attacking at all, if you know what i mean
I'm no pro, but I am 2200 peak, I think what you're asking just comes with experience. When I was gold-plat I throw random attacks when I'm either nervous or don't know what to do. I stopped the habit when I started to notice situations where I don't really need to attack, as the odds of getting punished is higher than hitting the attack. Learn to remain calm during these situations, realize that you don't have to throw out an attack in every situation.
I am not even joking just play the dam game once you reach 1k elo diamond is a no prb but that's only if you enjoy the game if you do not leave it asap don't waste your time regardless

My biggest bad habit is going for mixups when the other player refuses to be conditioned.
I call it the no mix-up mix-up 💀
I actually always talk about how I don’t know how to look at replays effectively, this was really helpful, thank you

Replays are a w for so many reasons
Why?
@@Rock717. You learn so much about how badly you play just by watching your replays. Like you didn't even realize how bad it really is till you do.

Are you telling me that this game is matching you with people that can play against your weaknesses?
In the how to reach diamond video you kept on saying play passive but what do you have to do if you need to go offensive or the other person is playing passive aswell.
The way he knows the game is like je just create it thats crazy
I have a lot of trouble playing against hyper aggressive players who play katars or fast weapons, could you make a video on that?
the video before this explains it, play neutral and punish each miss
