I really love this song because it puts that scripture "I can do all things who strengthens me" in context. This wasn't a time where Paul was about to charge into a battle, he was in jail, battered and broken and bruised. He was saying AFTER the trials, in the midst of the pain and hurt and hopelessness, I can do all things in him! In the worst of situations, in the face of hopelessness, God can still bring us hope. He can help you endure and remain faithful no matter what you're going through!
This song speaks to my heart, spirit, deep down in my soul, in '90 my mom was in a MVA & had a traumatic brain injury (tbi) it changed her personality, then in '95 I had my own accident that left me w/a tbi. within a 10 month span, i lost my career, 2 cousins, an uncle & my father died unexpectedly. Then in 2002 I lost my youngest brother to AIDS, I was blessed to be able to be his primary care giver til the end, but it was painful to watch, last yr at 46 yrs old i had a stroke. but God is good!
Love how God uses you for writing songs ..all of them r heart touching... We can relate we have 2 sons who have health issues one 15 years old with Autism ,immune disorder, hole in heart now blood clots...We have a 37 year old who has had 5 open heart surgeries.. And to hear you sing write songs abt kids and others just is so heart touching.. Thank you God bless

This has been a really amazing song that I frequently listen to. Thanks to Haleigh and her mom for sharing their story. I had the awesome privilege of being in the audience a few weeks ago at Beach Blast Fest 2013 and heard Matthew West sing this. It was a very moving moment. :)
Wow. De Jau vue. This exact thing happened to me, I was in a terrible car wreck may 2006 .. My ankle was completely severed.I had 6 surgeries , and recently just had three. It has been a battle. And I never thought I could overcome this . But I have with the grace of God

this song was such a blessing to me when i heard this song, i was really down alot was going on in my family and school wasnt going so great. i was stressed casue i had alot on my plate. when i was walkin home i was listening to my ipod and this song came on i heard the lyics. the sprit o god came over me and opend my eyes and said I PUT YOU HERE FOR A REASON. YOU CANT DO IT ALONE. BUT I AM WITH YOU. i put this song on repect and sung it while waling home that day. this song is such a blessing
This is the first time I've heard a piece of this song&all I have to say is WOW & THANK YOU for writing this song!!!!For the past 4 going on 5 years now I've been dealing with some medical issues&sometimes I feel like it's too much to handle&that I'm not strong enough to handle it but hearing this reminds me that I don't have to handle it&to let God handle it for me&make me strong enough to go through each day.This video will be going into my playlist on here.Can't wait to hear the whole song
I went in for a simple 15minute surgery on May 13 2009. thinking everything would be alright I had no worries. I came out with several contagious deadly diseases. I have had about 50 surgeries the last past year, I was in the hospital for my 16bday in the past July. I am at a point now where I would just like to take my life... everytime I hear this song it makes me cry.

Broke my femurs had rods in my femurs, pelvic ring, 3 ribs, and got a brain injury!! R.I.P. Shauna. Morgan and Katie.. you live on.
This song reminds me of the book of Job; In that book, we are told of how Satan is told to put his worst on Job but not to take his life. If you look at the story it is our story, God putting His money on us! He knows we will come out victorious in the end! Faith in Him!

all because the doctor used a dirty tool. I was going back and fourth to a hospital that was an hour away. I lost some of my heel bone and almost my foot. I have blood infections and bone infections. it's just not right!
