I can't understand your style of teaching as a whole but it's those little pieces of advice in between that really helped me over the years, that and your Serum series, that I understood really well

This is a lot of useful info again wow. I started learning sound design on serum 4 years ago and any sound I made sucked omg. awful outcomes. it felt terrible. So i said i would never try this ever again and I ll just use presets but you teach so well and clear so I m tryin it again, Thank you Zen bro. best teacher🙌

I learned a while back that it's OK to suck. Even good. You learn through pain what NOT to do, haha. Those are the best lessons. Keep fighting the good fight! And pay the wisdom forward.

Lots explained, but the author might be surprised that the concept that hit me most is offbeat bass's length - I had never seen it that way and it makes a world of difference... Also, the "when it makes you feel like dancing, that's where the money's at" is why I like my MPC - using it standing at a counter or high desk makes the drafting process more physical... Less sophisticated than a flagship synth such as Serum, but I gotta be grooving !

Do you think Recces is better than Quets For Fire and Don't Get Too Close ? And do you think that in Quets For Fire and Don't Get Too Close there was some evolution in terms of production or do you think that at the level where Skrillex is, it can no longer be improved?

The offbeat donk bass never left NW England since 1997 …
So … What is this Fisher donk record you speak of?
Please enlighten me because I cannot find it

Russian donk ! They were donking stuff in the UK back as far as the late 90s ...They just copied it 25 years later. As well as football hooliganism. Its ok though, they can have it both for free.
