Have been using the laundry mat for 6 month because this Error was coming up on my machine and couldn't afford a new one, decided to Google the error and found this video, fixed it within 15 minutes, thank you kind sir
I couldn't get the pin out but managed to get the backing off anyway without damaging anything, and my machine is now fixed. Thank you!
Our washing machine kept coming up with the E3 error and so we picked up a spare from my parents - also a Haier but slightly different model. We installed it and it suddenly had the same error! After watching this we found that both had 2 different problems. One needed a replacement part and the other had come loose which was an easy fix. Also the lid had come loose so was able to fix that as well after watching this video. Very helpful video - thank you!

I was able to repair my washing machine

thanks for posting. I took the door off my machine and didn't know how to put the spring back in. so just left it out - till now.
Thanks mate, followed your steps and was able to fix, the mechanism had come loose. Might have to put some glue as the plastic has become loose. Thanks once again!

cool 1 year later and i am going to test it now - more and more of there machines show up at the dumb lol not as many fisher and paykels - and the paykels have gone super cheep
I'm having same error in machine because I was cleaning the sides of drum with cloth..cloth stuck somewhere back into the drum.. I release that softly but after that it started e3..
What should I do know ..?

My Haier Top Loader makes a big noise while spinning and stops. I have to rebalance the load 3-4 times to complete one full wash, rinse and spin cycle. Is this the cause of the problem? Is there anything that could be causing the balance problem?
Not sure. Maybe a suspension rod has come loose. Check if the inner bowl is sitting level when it is empty. If it's on a slight angle then that could be the problem. I think you'll get to the suspension rods from underneath but I'm not sure. I have never had to replace them. I'm sorry I can't be of much help with that

Hello Paul, I have a Midea top washer MAE50-1102PS, and recently I started to get E2 error. Would you happen to know how to fix it?

Paul, i tried that, it didn't help.Can it be an issue with a lid lock? I saw some plastic piece fall out the other day.Now i don't get an error, but the machine stops the spin cycle and starts the wash cycle again
@@dinavalmon5069 I've had no experience with Midea machines, sorry. It sounds like it's a broken lid switch (or broken plastic lever) or out of balance switch. Sorry I can't be of help anymore.
My lid is broken which causes the E3 error, are you able to assist
Can the lid repaired or glued up if it is broken?
In the video shows the out of balance switch but there will be a separate similar looking "lid switch" under the panel as well. There will be a lug on the lid that pushes on the switch when the lid is shut. You could bypass it by wedging something in the switch. But this is NOT recommended because it disables the safety mode when on spin. ( The machine continues on spin when the lid is open which is very dangerous)
Also the switch itself may need replacing if it is faulty

as soon as I turn my machine on, it spins straight away, the tub just keeps spinning one way, do you know what it maybe?
No I'm sorry I can't really help with that one. Sounds like a control unit fault or stuck in a cycle.
Suggestions:
Switch it OFF at the wall and hold down the power button for 10 seconds. (Nothing will light up of course.) Then switch it on at the wall and try again.
When it spins, does the time on the display count downwards? If it does, maybe let it finish it's spinning cycle because the controller maybe jammed in a cycle and needs to finish. Sorry it's a tricky one, that's all that I can suggest

Hi there I've got a Haier HWT60AW1 top loader 6kg ...it's dose the wash cycle perfect..but it won't rinse or spin at all. When it reaches the rinse cycle it starts the cycle . But then stops and Chuck's a E3 code ...plz help what is that problem
Have you tested the "Out of balance switch" like I've explained?

@@paulywooly Coincidentally i have the same machine and same fault, the set up for the OOB switch is slightly different, but it is obvious this David guy didn't even take the time to have a look, he'll be stuck paying the $150 for a repair or buying a new washer. First up i could confirm it was mechanically sound, i didn't have a multi meter to check for continuity, but ended up bridging the switch out with a piece of tin foil and the fault is repaired.
Cannot say thank you enough mate, required a bit of extra knowledge, but you definitely put me on the right path. Cheers!
@@maccamaster Thanks for that, appreciate that. Just remember.... if the machine does go out of balance and the OOB switch has been bypassed, then you can cause a lot more damage because the machine will not stop spinning with an unbalanced load. I've seen the lid completely ripped off and the whole machine can jump across the floor.
@@paulywooly I had a bit of a deeper look, turns out the switch is fine, just a poor connection on the spade bits. 15 minutes later, my machine is back together as original. thanks again mate, and appreciate follow up and concern!

Is this called a lid switch???
No the lid switch is different. This is the "Out of Balance Switch" or OOB Switch

E 2 is the error code for lid switch - not E3. But you can certainly bypass (or replace) the OOB switch shown in this video. But I don't recommend bypass just in case it goes out of balance and machine does not stop, and that can cause more damage

E4 error
E4 is water is not getting into the machine.
1. Check the filters inside the hose connections on each end of the hoses.
2. If the hose filters are not blocked then means a faulty water valve
