I just purchased some stamps on Facebook market place. I thought I was getting a few trees and she gave me a whole bag full and some dies. I just began learning these things because I was into jewelry making...if you can believe that! I have started art journaling too. Seems I am going to have to make some Christmas cards too. You make it look pretty easy, but I read you have been at this since you were 12!!! Such a go getter!

I love the peel apart stamp a lot. But the stipple (snow) background stamp.. Man, I never have seen a better snowy stamp. Awesome!

Such a charming snow scene around that red house - I can see a couple of smaller trees down front and 3 little red birds eating some seeds on the snow - you are so talented Simon!
Simon: You need to develop an adhesive that will not be seen when used with Velum!!
I just discovered that my green tombow mono tacky adhesive doesn't show on vellum when it's spread thinly across the entire surface. Try any kind of latex based adhesive that stays tacky after drying!
Isn't it amazing that something better for vellum hasn't been figured out yet?

Oh my Christmas!!! All are beautiful but my favorite was the snow and cottage at end of video. The blending of the background snow came out do beautiful!! Simon, your the best!! After I get some more birthday cards out to family, between Halloween and Christmas cards are next!! LOVE all the new stamps!!!❤❤❤

Red rubber stamps much better so I think it was smart doing the more solid images on red rubber! The house on the snow background is my favorite card today. I absolutely love that house image and was very happy when you grabbed that one to make the card. Great job today, now I get to go watch you and Cathy Z!!

Hi Simon really liked all these stamping ideas, all were simply designed, and made such nice Christmas cards. That makes it hard to choose a favorite, but I think I loved the snow stamp and that cute little house on the hill. Such a tranquil scene. Fabulous release. The Stippled background stamp seems so versatile. Definitely good for snow and I also foresaw it being used for bubbles if turned upside down. Seems like it would be so much fun to play with.

I didn’t know you could put ink on top of an embossed surface. Those gold embossed cards were amazing.

An easy way to put adhesive on a vellum saying is to run it thru a xyron sticker maker and it puts adhesive all over it and you can’t see it at all.
Winter things is my favorite.

J´aime toutes ces planches mais pour mon album de noel l ensemble avec les boules et les cadeaux est parfait. Pour coller le vellum j ai vu une démo où l on mettait une fine couche de colle blanche sur un support que l on tamponnait ensuite délicatement avec le vellum et cela fonctionne très bien.
