Thanks for the video! Just got mine and you definitely helped me figure out a lot. Still don’t know how many scoops to do quite yet. What do you suggest?
Thank you for this video! The charcoal filter confused me because I didn’t know exactly where it should go. I’m also wondering why you chose not to use it?
Thank you so much This helped me set mine up tonight. I’m just confused about one thing I brewed 2 cups of water with the black permanent filter inside ( I didn’t realize it says take that out first ) did anyone else do this? Just to be safe I brewed another karafe of just water
No. For the cleaning cycles leave the charcoal filter out. Once you get ready to brew coffee you can insert the filter with the wand. You don't have to leave the wand in there. If it were me I'd remove the wand and only use it to replace the charcoal filter if it's needed.
Yes extra filters are always nice to have on hand. I actually returned this particular coffee maker and went with something else. I just wasn't a big fan of the touch screen personally.
Does anyone disregard the filter pod? I don't really see why it's necessary. My last coffee pot (not a DB brand) had them and I never used them. No issues and the coffee pot never got scaling. Just curious. Hate to spend the $ if it isn't necessary.
Is this the grey or black one? Kind of hard to tell because it looks a little lighter then the shiny part and I know it comes in a charcoal or grey color as well!
I was gifted the 14C maker, There were no instructions. I looked stuff up online but couldn't find what I needed. This pot, with no matter how much water, will do a make a little, stop etc. until the entire reservoir is empty. How can I change it to make a whole pot w/o it stopping
Sorry for the late response. You can brew however many cups you want in this machine. It all depends on how full you fill the carafe. The display only shows the program function, the + and - sign for brew strength, and the start button.
@@morganskitchen2415 Ok thank you. Do you feel the Beautiful gives good flavor? I bough t a Keurig and I feel it doesn't bring flavor to the cup. The water just runs through.
This model is pretty hard to tell if it's off or not. I do know it has an automatic 4 hour shut-off so it will turn off after 4 hours. You could try touching the BREW/OFF button and see if that helps. I returned mine for something different all because of the touch screen. I'm not a big fan of touch screens on kitchen appliances.
I generally fill the coffeemaker to 10 cups and its quits after 3 or 4 cups. Whats up with that? The 1 to 4 cups light is always on so i dont think i have it set for 4 cups. It just quits. Very frustrated.
That's very frustrating indeed. Sorry you're having problems with that. It's odd that the 1 to 4 cups light is always on as well. Have you tried turning it off? Maybe unplug it completely and then plug it back in?
Hello, I know you posted your helpful video a year ago, but I read where you returned yours. Did you start to not like it and if so, why. I just purchased mine and the chime isn’t working, did you have that same problem bc I didn’t hear yours chime at the end or make a noise when you pressed buttons in the video? I would like to have it chime once completed. Thanks for your reply!
I wasn't a fan of the touch screen on this model. I just had a hard time using it and it wasn't worth my time. Mine did chime once the brew cycle was complete.
Sorry for the late response! The little white filter goes in the back where the water goes in. You can put it in before you put any water in it before brewing coffee.
You should be able to take the lid off the pot with no issue. There should be two notches on either side of the lid towards the handle that fit in place on the pot itself. That's what makes it look flush when it's all together. I hope this helps!
I can see what you're talking about but still can’t remove the lid. I'm afraid to break it. It's on very securely. I like everything else about this coffee maker and cand live with a lid that I can't take off.🙂 Thank you for trying to help me.
Just press brew once for on and press twice to start and let it turn off by itself after the warmer timer and when it’s off you can see the brew light dim off and on!
It should automatically shut off after 4 hours of the keep warm function. If it doesn't then it might have something wrong with it. You should be able to just touch the Brew/Off button to turn it off.
What a crappy design, no clear start button for brewing, touched the button that says Brew/off then walked away. Didn’t make coffee. Call me old school but a clear start and stop would help a lot
I can not get mine to make more than 4 cups. It randomly stopped making a full pot. There is no option that I can see to change that setting to make more. It does not brew the full pot that I filled. This coffee maker is going to goodwill.
Thank you for this review😊 I'm getting one for my birthday 🎂
This B lineup is consistently beautiful.
Ty for video we just got one and hope I can enjoy it and get used to touch screen
Thanks for the video❤
I just got my lavender one and feel fancy AF!!!
Getting mine tomorrow. Can't wait!
Thanks for the video! Just got mine and you definitely helped me figure out a lot. Still don’t know how many scoops to do quite yet. What do you suggest?
Sorry for the late response! It all depends on how strong you like your coffee. We put 4 scoops of coffee for a full pot of coffee.
Thank you for this video! The charcoal filter confused me because I didn’t know exactly where it should go. I’m also wondering why you chose not to use it?
You are so welcome!
Just throw it out
How do I get the filter light off on my drew berry’s beautiful coffee maker screen?
I did change the charcoal filter!!!!!!!

When You were cleaning it initially? They say not to during those 2 initial cycles but it's not a huge deal. Just remember for next time ♡
Question, are you supposed to leave that filter wand inside while you clean and brew??
No. For the cleaning cycles leave the charcoal filter out. Once you get ready to brew coffee you can insert the filter with the wand. You don't have to leave the wand in there. If it were me I'd remove the wand and only use it to replace the charcoal filter if it's needed.
Would you recommend buying extra filters? Since it’s been two years, what rating would you give it? Maybe you could do an updated video.
Yes extra filters are always nice to have on hand. I actually returned this particular coffee maker and went with something else. I just wasn't a big fan of the touch screen personally.
Can you look at the bottom of the gold handle? Mine has a hole that leaks water and just wanted to know if that's normal!
No it isnt normal. You should get a refund or exchange.
Mine leaks too
How is water getting into the handle??
Does anyone disregard the filter pod? I don't really see why it's necessary. My last coffee pot (not a DB brand) had them and I never used them. No issues and the coffee pot never got scaling. Just curious. Hate to spend the $ if it isn't necessary.

Black for sure.

I'm not sure since I don't have this coffee maker any longer.
Do you still like this? The reviews are making me nervous but I love the look
Yes we love ours. Walmart has a generous return policy if you decide you dont like it.
What difference does it make if I put the white charcoal in or not ?
I would imagine it would help filter the water better than not having it in. You could also use filtered water to fill the water reservoir as well.
I have now bought 3 types of charcol filters for none of them to work.. Can someone please tell me what replacment fits these?
I'm sorry. I'm not sure which ones fit either.
I changed the charcoal filter
What kind of problems did you have return it? I was just about to click purchase at Walmart. On hold now.
I just didn't like the touch screen. I couldn't really get it to work whenever I used it. I had no problems returning mine.
How do you know it’s keeping the coffee warm??
The carafe is thermal so it should keep the coffee warm for a while.
Does it only display 1-4 cups?
Sorry for the late response. You can brew however many cups you want in this machine. It all depends on how full you fill the carafe. The display only shows the program function, the + and - sign for brew strength, and the start button.
How do I select the coffee size I want? I just want one cup. I only see 1-4 cups; not 14 cups or how to choose.
Just pour the desired amount of water in the reservoir and it should brew that amount.
@@morganskitchen2415 Ok thank you. Do you feel the Beautiful gives good flavor? I bough t a Keurig and I feel it doesn't bring flavor to the cup. The water just runs through.

I'm not quite sure how to take it off sorry.

WHERE DOES THE LITTLE WHITE FILTER GO???? WHERE DO YOU INSERT IT AT?
AND DO YOU NEED TO PUT IT IN THERE WHILE YOU BREW COFFEE??
Sorry for the late response! The little white filter goes in the back where the water goes in. You can put it in before you put any water in it before brewing coffee.
Only put water 1 14 and then is brew how many you put of water
Mine doesn’t beep .. very hard to k ow if it’s off or on 🤷🏻♀️
It's very annoying for sure. I returned mine just because I had so many problems with it.
Where does the carbon filter go?
In the water reservoir.
How do I take lid off the coffee pot?
You should be able to take the lid off the pot with no issue. There should be two notches on either side of the lid towards the handle that fit in place on the pot itself. That's what makes it look flush when it's all together. I hope this helps!

I got it off with a little screw driver. Was easier to put back on🙂
Hi anyone Knows where I can get a new pot?😢
I'd try Amazon.
do you know how to turn it off without having to unplug it?
You should be able to press the BREW/OFF button to turn it off.
I can't figure out how to make sure it's turned off
Just press brew once for on and press twice to start and let it turn off by itself after the warmer timer and when it’s off you can see the brew light dim off and on!
Do you still use this coffee maker?
I don't. I didn't like it very much so I got a different one.
I wish you showed where to place the small charcoal filter! It’s not clear in instructions. So, I assume you don’t have to use?
I didn't use it in mine. You should be able to just place it in the water reservoir.
You place it in the black charcoal filter holder. The bottom piece opens for you to pop it into. Check your included instruction manual page 16 #8.
I can not figure how to shut it off
I'm sorry. That can be very frustrating. That's one of the reasons I returned mine. I just really didn't care for the touch screen.
How do you turn it off, it stays on pulsating all the time!
It should automatically shut off after 4 hours of the keep warm function. If it doesn't then it might have something wrong with it. You should be able to just touch the Brew/Off button to turn it off.
@@morganskitchen2415 does your coffee maker have any lights on (not including the clock) when it is turned off? Please help!
@@laragibson6331 No. Mine just has the clock on when it's turned off.
No mine continually blinks and never stops. Blinking when went to bed and still blinking in the morning.
@@laragibson6331 🤔That's very puzzling. It still works fine though right?
Hello my machine no work
I'd return it to whatever store you bought it from and either get a refund or another one.
but...does it make hot coffee?
Hmmmmm..... It felt pretty hot when I took a sip haha...
Yes
What a crappy design, no clear start button for brewing, touched the button that says Brew/off then walked away. Didn’t make coffee. Call me old school but a clear start and stop would help a lot
I couldn't agree more! Not a big fan of touch screens myself.
I had same problem.....I guess u just have to hit it twice
How do I get it off of the 1-4 cups and back to 14 cups?
However many cups of water you pour into it is how many cups it will brew. It is weird.
@@morganskitchen2415 not true. I put 14 cups of water in mine, and it still only brews the 1-4 cup option. Stupid!
Same issue!
I fill the tank and it still only brews about 4 cups.
I can not get mine to make more than 4 cups. It randomly stopped making a full pot. There is no option that I can see to change that setting to make more. It does not brew the full pot that I filled. This coffee maker is going to goodwill.
