      Iam fixing air conditioner board
      I got problem with indoor unit fan the moc3021 triac driver is driving
      131-6 dj547 triac the triac is high impedance in and out of board but when connect ac the voltage on both main terminals of triac it is like goes short with high voltage i want equivelent to this triac it is gate triggerd with 220v by moc 3021

    Thanks Mr. Haseeb for your effort to describe the working principle and troubleshooting of smart battery chargers.
    There's a minor error in the description of the TL494 ic. Pin 13 (Output Control) is not for enabling/disabling of the output transistors. This pin controls the output mode: when connected to ground the output transistors operate in parallel, and when connected to the 5 V reference voltage the output transistors operate in push-pull mode.

    Thank you for publicly sharing your knowledge with us. Your video has helped me troubleshoot my Intelligent charger and resurrect it back to working order. My problem turned out to be a bad solder joint on one of the ICs which was only visible on inspection with a powerful magnifying lens. Your tip on a careful inspection saved the day and your explanation of the workings helped me to understand how these chargers work. Thanks again!

    Salam alaikum,
    Thank you deeply for the nice explanation.
    I have a battery charger that is controlled by a TL494 too. It should output 24V but it ouputs 30V under no load and the problem is that when I plug it to charge the battery the output drops to 9 votls. I tested the transisitors and TL494 and they are working fine. What could be the cause. I d be very grateful if you can help me

    Thank you for this video.
    I have a very similar charger. The problem with it is that it pretends to charge battery and it quickly turns the LED that indicates that the battery is full but in reality it is not charged. I appreciate your help.
