This is one of my favorites of this soundtrack: I think it perfectly encapsulates the feeling of something evil looming SOMEWHERE; you just don’t know where…
Probably my favorite area in the game. Very spooky. I like this corrupted area a lot more compared to the other because the other one is all over the place. This feels just right in eerieness.
Empty yet somber; desolate yet soothing. It always relieves me when I hear this music when going into a new room. You're here, safe again, but you will get out of here and right back into the infinite vastness of the castle. This area, although big, dark and gloomy, feels like a happier place you would want to be. The air is a kind of cold you would feel from an air conditioner, you just can't get enough of it. There's carpets here, some cute clouds, and a darkness you can peer into just as any good light down the hallway of a hotel. The castle's motif here reminds you that you have to leave, but you can stay for as long as you like. The looming dread of leaving this place for evil is there, but you can always wait here, smell the breezy air. And when you do come back to this place, welcome it like an old friend. The music will be a reminder of that. This part of the castle is one fucked up friend that's always nice to you no matter what.
the little sewer maze in this area was my first exposure to this song and it freaked me the heck out it felt like i had to get out of that place asap but i just didn't because i had to see it all also turns out the sound that sounds like ship creaking is actually strings from the peach's castle theme at a super low pitch
I thought that I had never heard this theme before, but I realized that in one of my latest dive into the plexus, I entered this area, and said "fuck no" and left immediately. So I've heard the first four seconds of this theme, but that's it.
The area is actually called Bowser's Domain, and a curious fact I can give about the music that plays here is that it is the same as that which plays in the area called His Domain, only much deeper.
In the background, you can hear the first 6 measures of "Inside the Castle Walls" pitched way down low and slowed. Not quite sure on what the main notes are. Is it the later half of the same song, but in reverse?
Apparently there is a filter that is being used here, as getting the vanish cap also has a toned down version to it, but it's still the same speed as usual. This level track in the game files is probably different therefore because the normal version of it without the pitch down and slowing. There is likely a version of that "Wrinkly 64" track in the files that has the slowed down but not the low-tone, which this level uses (albeit low-pitching it).

worse. it makes you fell like either hes watching you. or a way to say you are the evil yourself
the evil is the tunnel that leads to unsettling maze.
The fact that you're inside that something the whole time
And a Peach ghost in the night hours
Perfectly unsettling without feeling forced or edgy.
this is where the game immediately reminded you that this is a horror themed hack
i remembered that NOWHERE IS SAFE HERE
You should wait until you see Polygonal Chaos
It's not necessarily horror-themed, it's more like "weirdcore"-themed.
@@ohmeohmicahYume Nikki like basically

The song when Wrinkly Kong dies.
The melody of this song is like the beginning of a metal song
Empty yet somber; desolate yet soothing.

Reminds me of Numbers World from Yume Nikki
same.
The whole hack reminds me of Yume Nikki
I think this is his domain/plexal hallway (not to be confused with cryptic hideout or clock hall) but heavily slowed and made deep.
His Domain is different. This is called Bowsers Domain.
It sounds like something out of Sunlust
A Slowed down version of his domain, without the main Notes.
Am I the only one who hears a bit of "Theme of Eastern Story"?
The name for this now is Bowser’s Domain
creepy music for mario 64 is personalized
The new official name for this area is: "Bowser's domain"

It's the wrinkly kong song from dkc3 but WAY pitched down.
