There I am on the ground under Slim who I was riding bareback. He stood looking down at me not moving at all. Finally, I got back up, and Slim looked at me as if to say, "Hey man, you all right?" Great horse and just gorgeous.
I'm glad to see that atleast British TV still has history on it. Here in America, what used to be historical programming is now about swamp people and looters.

Worst jobs is real good, but he did another one about the paranormal and that is also good. He does the program like "down home" investigation. Both programs are very good. 500 (200?) years ago Some of these "jobs" were top picks compared to being born in some "village". Brutality was the norm. Old age at and death between 30 and 40. England would probably have been annexed by the Vatican, or Spanish, with no separation between religion and state if it had been different. Lot's to be grateful for living now - with all it's problems. Though sad to see that there are cultures or groups of people that want to revisit some of these ages. Even in the UK we have illegal (child) workers, no contracts for work etc. Very Victorian. Great Series.

You can really tell that Tony is against the idea of a royal family. I did already know he was but I like his sarcastic comments like "no mail no king (and some might say that's not a bad thing)" or "the current queen has whittled down her staff to just over 600 people (poor thing)". There's so much of it, and it's still there. It's fascinating. Even though we live in different places, we share a common heritage.
