I think the reason that being in your twenties makes you feel so old is because you can remember the past ten years of your life or so, which isn't something you've really experienced in life up until that point. When I was 14, I couldn't remember what my life was like at four. However, now, at 24, I remember what my life was like at 14... being able to remember so much of your past is a very strange feeling.
