Just taking the front diff and crossmember will allow you to take the pan off. Not too bad. The diff is a little bit of a puzzle but very doable. Enjoyed your video as always!
Wow you just gave me hope. I have a 07 Yukon Denali with motor locked. Lifter #7 broke in the motor somewhere. Was wondering how I would be able to pull that beast 6.2 out. Even if it requires doing extra work. Thanks for The video!
Looks like it went pretty smooth on the engine removal. It's a shame the hood doesn't have the second set of bolt holes to hold it just about straight up in service mode like the silverado does. That was one messed up piston. Looking forward to everything going back together. ✌🏻
@@TWAMotorsports the converter will pull right out. When you make a living doing this type of work, you can’t spend hours taking off stuff to put back on later for no reason…. For free.
I like how kam shows up at the end of the videos to let us know what we need to do for the channel 🤙🏼great vid as always
Lol. He is getting it down.
Looking at your setup, option 1. Pop a new seal in the front pump going back together.
Probably

Yeah and even then it wasn't a guarante

Hopefully it helps. Good luck on yours
I like these kids of projects.
Me too sometimes
Travis nice job on the junk engine removal... man you have enough projects in your wheel house to last till 2050...👍
That's for sure

Thank you. Yeah it went pretty good. Back together soon
Killer vid dude 👍🍻
Thank you
Where did you buy that plate to pull up the engine?
Older model. Link in video description
Good excuse to put something with the power more suited for this size vehicle like a 6.0-6.2L...
Nope just an upgraded 5.3
Those jack stands look a little undersized for that truck.
Probably so
Damn…..thats a pretty shitty situation
It's not too bad
Aluminum Block.
Indeed
Dude really did take the WHOLE DAM DRIVETRAIN OUT…. to get the motor out. That motor would’ve been out, complete, in 40 minutes, sooner on a lift.
Motor was locked up. Doing it right vs tearing stuff up is 2 very different things
@@TWAMotorsports it’s easier to pull a motor than to pull the entire driveline. Bell housing and converter bolts is all….🤷
@iron-hide6.210 do you not understand that when a engine is locked up you can't get the converter bolts out?

@iron-hide6.210 it doesn't pull right out but this is why I chose to do my own work as opposed to taking somewhere they will cut corners 👍
