I JUST LOVE LAPWINGS! || BIRD PHOTOGRAPHY

Out on my dog walk one evening I noticed a bunch of northern lapwings at this small pond on a flooded field so I headed out first thing the morning after to try and see if I could photograph the lapwings in the morning sun.
For me there a few sounds I look forward to each year, which - to me indicates the coming of spring and one of those are the callings of the Northern Lapwing along with Curlew, redshank and the cuckoo.
Had a really stunning morning with mist rising from the flooded field as the sun rose and warmed up the ground, beautiful and all - this create as I think most of us already know, unsharp photos.. but in the end of the day I think I got a handful of photos and a memory richer, which to me - are what it´s all about.

Ser ut som du hade en kanonmorgon i gömslet. Fint ljus och fåglar att plåta! Fina bilder blev det också. Jag hade gärna sett mer hur du rekade ut platsen och hur du tänkte när du valde platsen att ligga på och så. Men gött och och uppleva en sådan morgon utan att själv behöva gå upp kl 04.00. 😀
