I’ve always thought of it like Ahsoka taking a piece of Anakin with her into that battle, since he couldn’t come with her. In spite of that, he never wanted her to feel like he abandoned her. Whether she’s a Jedi or just a Civilian putting her training to good use, he will always be there for her. The presenter isn't being toally fair to Anakin here. He was in possession of the sabers for months before getting the chance to return them. The crystals had attuned to him in that time & he tinkered with everything techy as a matter of course.
Exactly, Anakin did not intentionally changed the crystals' colors. It just happened because on top of what you just said, he is uniquely attuned to the Force. I've also noticed that his mood has an effect on the Coruscanti Weather, so altering the color of two Kyber Crystals is nothing by comparison.
I didn’t really think of it as Anakin being possessive, I think one of the few things Anakin actually could accept was Ahsoka leaving the Jedi because he understood it and the temptation. I assumed he altered her lightsabers incase he lost or broke his and needed spares until he could make his own.
So basically what ur saying is if a Jedi bonds with a crystal and dosen't like the color the crystal turned out to be they can tune the crystals color frequency to change it? That's kinda cool I didn't know about that peice of lore if that's canon they should give us a color wheel in the next jedi game instead of having a limited set of colors to choose from.
If a Jedi is strong enough in The Force they are able to create a connection with either an individual or an object called a 'Force Bond'. Basically it allows the Jedi it become attached to the object or the other person on stronger spiritual level. These Bonds can effect the potency of powers, colours of Lightsaber blades and ability to channel The Force through an object or connection. So Anakin changing the colour of her sabers shows that his personality is domineering and likes to be in control over everything and also shows that he has trouble with 'letting go' which is the main reason why he was assigned an Apprentice to learn how to 'let go'.
